There have been rumors of a Batwoman title starting up after IC (most likely with an uncrippled Babs), but that isn't the point of this thread. I want to see what new Batman title people would like to see and buy. I'll list a few ideas below but feel free to make your own. Don't worry about how some of these people come back, but do give a reason why you want the series.

Batwoman (explain who it should be)
Spoiler (explain how she should come back)
Batboy (explain who it should be)
Red Hood (explain focus of plot)
Ace the Bathound (explain focus of plot)
Bruce Wayne Billionaire (explain focus of plot)

I will add more if I think of any. Again, feel free to come up with your own ideas...

A Batman team-up book - not Waid's B&TB but one that's just Batman & a guest star
World's Finest: Batman, Superman & Wonder Woman.
Batman: The Sci-Fi Closet

The only reason one I would get is the Bruce Wayne one.

With the caveat that DC give Bruce Wayne an actual personality.

This isn't one of the choices, but I always wanted to see a young Bruce Wayne series similar to the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.

The book would begin on the morning of his parents murder.

The book would continue and show the events that immediately happened after the murder similar to what was done in Batman Begins with a young Jim Gordon comforting Bruce Wayne.

We would then see the training. A young Bruce Wayne preparing his body for battle and meeting up with different teachers all over the world. Bruce in high school. What was he like then? What did he do?

It could be a long series that could end with a specific number like 100.

Batwoman

Barbara Gordon leaves the wheelchair behind and goes back into action! Well, that wouldn't happen because of BoP,so maybe Sasha could be the new Batwoman--wait, she's a Go-Bot now--damn it. Umm..some woman connected to Batman should be Batwoman.

You mean other than the "Batwoman" that Loeb is introducing in S/B? ;)

I'm really not sure BoP will be around after this.

I'm simply interested in the Batwoman title. Whatever is put on the market, I'm eager to give it a read. And yes, I'm an easy sucker. :o

I think that Batwoman sounds kind of bad. It worked in the golden age but now...I dunno. She-Bat sounds worse though...

Doesn't seem that hard, they hang out together quite a bit.

Or did, back before DC's mandate that characters just whine and argue with each other.

Spoiler Mini

Not by bringing her back, but showing her dealing with her life after death. It could cameo some of the "dead" characters right now (Blue Beetle, Sue, etc), and some more obscure characters that readers might have forgotten about, helping her along.

I really would go for a more mature Bat title. It wouldn't have to be batman necessarily, but I would almost like a Batman that doesn't have a problem with killing. It could be like marvels MAX punisher, only with Batman. I don't know how DC would handle this with their imprints- you know because Vertigo is their more mature titles and the Bat books are supposed to be more tame. But if they put out a more mature bat book I would totally buy it.

Like Dante, I would like to see a mature title put out by Vertigo. No killing by the Bat, but certainly a harder edged Batman and Gotham.

Also, I'd like to see a Bruce Wayne comic that only has Batman show up a few times here and there. Let us see how Batman's alter-ego deals with Gotham, Wayne Corp., training, keeping his identity a secret, etc.

I'd love to see this too. Batman's life outside of costume and his interaction with regular people. And before someone shouts "But he's a loner!" Being a loner doesn't preclude dealing and interacting with others."

Oh and speaking of new titles isn't time Huntress had one? I want to see her in a book that highlights the strong & determined woman she is. Not like in BoP where she essentially plays "third wheel" to Canary and Oracle.

Not really.

All Star Batman and Robin is more a look at Batman through Robin's eyes...

Well, so far that's how I have read it.

I'd like to see a few Batman titles vanish before we get anymore. That said I wouldn't mind seeing a Joker comic (again!),possibly a mini series as I don't know how you could sustain an ongoing series

Plus, I think Alan also wants the book where Batman and Robin work together to be good.

ASB&R is not so much good as hilarious because it is so bad...

I truly hope there is not a new Bat-book. I don't think the ones there are are doing a good job.
That being said this is what I think makes a bat-book fro another post.

I think the extra bat-books should reflect upon each other, not be so seperate that there is no reason to be bat-books at all. In my thougts there is no reason for them to exist with out a heavy connection to Batman. To me they should help define him and him them

Just noticed that ToT shows Flamebird is the new Batwoman. If there is a new series with a Batwoman, perhaps it's with her.

How about a detective series with Bruce Wayne? Kind of a cross between Banacek and CSI....Have it set where Wayne is in his mid 70's...clearly no longer Batman material, but still the world's greatest detective...

Good Idea, though a "Bruce Wayne - PIMP" title would be quite cool as well lol. You could read about how he's trying to hook up with random girls and maintain his extra curricular as the Batman...

Batwoman (explain who it should be)
Spoiler (explain how she should come back)
Batboy (explain who it should be)
Red Hood (explain focus of plot)
Ace the Bathound (explain focus of plot)

none of these would make any sense. go back to reading silver-age batman books if you feel you must revisit these characters.

the one batman monthly that i wish DC would have the guts to support would be to focus on bruce wayne's early years: his adolescent years, his time abroad, and his very early years after he first dons the costume.
