Brian Hibbs wins case againist Marvel (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2005/10/05/BUG3AF2GUC1.DTL&hw=comic&sn=001&sc=1000).
Looks like Marvel will have a little less money the next couple of months. I bet my buddy who runs a store in San Francisco is happy about the free comics.

I would be so happy if this ment that Marvel would finnaly get on the ball and stop the delays that are plauging their lines. Seriously Astonishing X-men was delayed a total of 3 months.

It would have worked better if your second parody title didn't use commas.
And I would think you would make fun of my spelling over my lack of commas.

Quite true. T'was I. But I guess this displayed lack of 'attention to detail' explains the missing comma.
Though I wasn't making fun of EmmaFrost, Dan. I was just making a humourous jibe at the lack of a comma and it's effect. So it wasn't anything personally directed at him/her (I note you refer to EmmaFrost as a "fella", but considering the name and the apparent want to personalise and feel victimised by a fairly inconsequential grammar joke, I think it's more likely Emma is a girl).

Really?! Oh, man I wish he would have 'Nope, I'm a guy' written under his screen name. Now I feel grubby because of all those PMs I sent him suggesting that we make up for the our little misunderstanding regarding the comma joke by going to a chat room for some cyber-sex!!

I, found, those, quite, arousing., I, would, so, have, cyber, sex, with, you, if, you, like?,
(I might be one of the few people who find grammer jokes [even those at my own expense] funny. I did take a class entitled History of the English Language.)
So, make, as, many, jokes, about, my, grammer, as, you, like!,

HOW ARROGANT! HOW DARE YOU (2ND PERSON SINGULAR) THINK MY "YOU (2ND PERSON PLURAL) REFER BACK TO YOU (2ND PERSON SINGULAR)?

Emma Darling, there's an "s" on refer , as it's third person singular. :)

That would be a typo.
Does that mean it wasn't funny?
Cos I laughed, and if I laughed and it wasn't funny that would make me a crazy-person and I wouldn't like that one little bit.

If Marvel is giving every comic store in America free comics for a week or two then how many comic shops are there in this country and will the comic shops do anything special with the free comics?

It's not free comics, per se. It's a way to make up to the retailers that lost money due to Marvel not abiding by its contract.

I'd say they are reading nothing else.

It depends on the store. Some may discount, but I bet a lot of stores will charge the standard price to recover their loses form previous orders.

I wonder if Anything's been said about stores that were open at the time, but are now closed.
