Top Ten Best Cities to Live in According to CNNI (http://edition.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/10/04/eui.survey/index.html)

Wonder how this was conducted exactly, but it really comes as not surprise to me.

Yay for Switzerland!
I love that place, despite *almost* never having been there. ;)

What does "almost" never having been there mean? Have you flown over Switzerland?

He was tossed into the trunk of a car naked, and dumped in Zurich. So he's been there, he's just trying to repress the memory of all those Swiss people laughing at his nakedness.

We were not laughing. More like... giggling, really.

Vancouver is the world's most desirable place to live, according to a new survey, while Papua New Guinea's Port Moresby is at the other end of the scale.

The Canadian city, nestled on the Pacific coast, was one of four locations in that country to rank at the top of the Economist Intelligence Unit's livability survey, which looked at conditions in 127 cities.
Shit, I've been sayin' that for years.

This survey is done annually. It takes into account the different standard of living factors, such as crime, healthcare, jobs, stuff like that.. Toronto won 6 times in a row a few years ago, now Vancouver seems to be winning a lot.

Canada, Australia, and Switzerland are cities? Snarkiness aside I've always wanted to go to Vancouver, if for nothing else than to see some Canucks I'm friends with.

Really? 'Cause, um... I heard them talking some pretty heavy crap about you.

They really don't like you.

Not really. I'm sure it's a misunderstanding.

Hey look, man. I heard what you said.

"Have you ever actually smelled Blair? Man, it's like leaving a milk bottle out for a week, filling it with wet dog hair, feeding it to a cow, and then lighting it on fire when he shits it out."

Not that I necessarily disagree. I'm just sayin'.

It loses a lot when you translate it.

Maybe they just took cities from the UN's list of best countries in the world.

Anyone notice that it's all places with government funded health care?
