He and Nat went for one last round with Ringo and Pat at the big Noonan's in the sky.

Great, great series - if you can get the whole series off ebay or something, I highly recommend it.

And there is a JLA Classified story arc coming up written by Garth Ennis about a lost HitMan story that somehow involes the JLA.

Tommy, Natt, and Tommy's new love interest Agent McAllister are gunned down while trying to flee the country by McAllister's former allies in Truman's shadowy metahuman assassination agency. (Tommy had refused to work for Agent Truman earlier in the series, but sealed his fate when he rescued a neighborhood girl who saw too much during No Man's Land in Gotham.) Only Hacken survived to tell their story.

Thats sucks.
On the other hand Garth is now writing one of my all time favorite marvel characters
But I really did love the idea of a metahuman hitman.

And:

Nat was mortally wounded just short of the helicopter that was going to take him and Tommy to safety. To keep Nat from falling into Truman's hands, Tommy turned back and shot the onlooking Truman in the head just before being cut down by the gunfire of government troops.

McAllister survived the final confrontation.

...

Damn it, why isn't this in trade format? Why did they stop trading Hitman and never start again later? :(

Cause it wasn't selling, or that's what they say.

There were some hints several months ago that they might start up the trades again
