Anyone can vote. Please read both strategies before voting.

Rom- Green Lantern I, Zatanna, Maxima, Ray, Strange Visitor, Sgt. Rock

Taskmaster- Green Lantern III, Deathstroke, Deadshot, Cyborg, Solomon Grundy, Abra Cadabra

Here is Taskmaster's strategy:

The two biggest threats on this time are Strange Visitor and Zatanna,
so my team will have to take them out quickly. Immediately upon arrival
on the battle field my team will spring into action with a many pronged
plan of action. The first move is made by Abra Kadabra, using his 64th
century technomagic making sure all sound is negated on the battle
field, this immediately takes Zatanna out of the battle as she cannot speak
to weave her backward spells, a drawback that Abra Kadabra’s ‘magic’
does not have. The rest of the team spreads out and chooses their
targets. Each of these attacks happen at the same time at the beginning of
the battle. Green Lantern (Hal) flies quickly toward Green Lantern
(Alan) taunting the ‘old man’ to get his attention, but it’s a ruse and at
the last second Hal breaks his attack off and instead engages Strange
Visitor in combat, this action should distract GL (Alan) long enough for
Solomon Grundy to leap ‘Hulk style’ and plow into Green Lante!
rn (Alan) and bring him to the ground (Alan cannot affect Grundy due to
the ring’s wood impurity and Grundy’s swamp like make-up). Grundy then
proceeds to beat on Alan Scott and a battle is begun between the two
archenemies. Cyborg leaps into action, leaping toward the Ray, armoring
up in his solar shields (last seen during the Titans recent battle with
Dr Light) with his superhuman strength and immunity to solar energy in
this form he should be able to keep Ray occupied, if not remove him
from the battle entirely. Deathstroke’s job is to keep Maxima occupied
with his energy blasting staff and avoid her attacks with his superior
speed and agility while tagging her with blasts from his staff as well as
from his shotgun, he keeps her off balance, keeping her from utilizing
her telepathic abilities (which have been shown to require her
concentration). This leaves Deadshot to manuver through the battle field and
neutralize both the now powerless Zatanna and after what I’m su!
re will be an interesting firefight, he should be able to eas!
ily dispose of Sgt Rock, who while a great leader is nowhere near the
shot Deadshot is. Green Latern (Hal), no stranger to dealing with
beings with energy powers (Dr Light, Sinestro, Dr Polaris, Sonar. Etc…)
should be easily able to siphon off enough energy from Strange Visitor to
leave her incapacitated because even with her high levels of power, she
lacks experience and that would give Green Lantern (Hal) an
overwhelming edge, taking Visitor out of the battle, at that point GL (Hal) would
move on to aid Grundy against GL (Alan). Abra Kadabra would aid
Cyborg in battling the Ray, creating a field of solid darkness that blots
out the sun and robs Ray of his power source. The combined forces of
the ‘magic’ technology of Abra Kadabra and the technology and battle
skills of Cyborg should quickly be able to take down Ray even with his back
up power and they would beat him easily at this point considering he
can’t do anything to either of them, and at the very least they can!
keep him occupied long enough to use up his stored solar power and
with no sunlight to re-power him he’s just a normal human, who goes down
to Cyborg and Kadabra easily. Deadshot begins to attack Maxima from a
distance (keeping Maxima from using her psi-abilities), aiding
Deathstroke and helping to keep her off balace and on the defensive. At this
point Green Lantern (Alan) fighting against one being that he cannot
defeat easily in Grundy and another Green Lantern that he has admitted is
better than him in Hal Jordan. Whatever chance he has to win at this
point is destroyed when Kadabra enters the battle, first things first he
lifts the ‘spell of silence’ he did earlier in the fight (to help
Cyborg who has gone on to help battle Maxima), he then ‘casts a spell’ that
creates trees that reach out and attack Alan, binding him and leaving
him prey to the more powerful Lantern (Hal) and the attacks of Grundy,
Alan is defeated, but Hal keeps Grundy and Kadabra form killing hi!
m out of respect. At this point a very angry Maxima is battl!
ing Cyborg (who is blasting her with white sound while relying on his
computer half to take over in case she catches him with a Psi-attack)
and Deadshot, and has probably taken Deadshot out of the battle
completely, but the emerald energy attacks of Green Lantern, the brute force of
Solomon Grundy added to the attacks of Cyborg will even take down the
former alien queen, leaving her battered and unconscious on the
battlefield, Kadabra and a winded Deathstroke can sit this last part out,
unless needed, because otherwise they are just overkill.

And Rom's:

Zatanna casts "peels seoF"

Strange Vistior Zaps at superspeed and and blasts away at Abra Kadabra, Cyborg as well as others. He zaps in and out faster than they can think while pummeling them with energy blasts as well as increasing thier mass so they can not even stand up. Thereby knocking them out of the fight.
Alan Scott and The Ray will play offense/defense combo against Hal Green Lantern. Both will absorb any of Hal attacks or constructs while pummeling him with thier own counter offensive blasts.
Maxima will fly with Rock and confront Grundy while Sgt/ Rock will help her out by tossing a few grenades at him.

Stage 2

Zatanna will assit Strange in neutrilizing anyone who she hasn't put down yet. Casting spell after spell.
If Hal is down then GL and strange Vistior will assist Maxima in taking out Grundy. If Grundy is down then Maxima will help out in taking down Hal.

Rom... gotta love your style, buddy! But, Taskmaster owns this one.

Going with Taskmaster on this one. A more well-thought out strategy.

What kind of speed does Strange Visitor have? Can he move faster than thought?

Probably. She has Superman's energy powers (if you remember him from that weird Superman Blue phase). If I remember, they said that Superman could move at the speed of light with those powers because he was made of energy. So, if she wanted to, she could move at light speed too.

If this is the case, then Abra Cadabra never has a chance to conjur his spell, which means Zatanna can cast her spell, which means Rom wins.

How consistent is the idea that Zatanna doesn't actually need to speak her spells -- she just does it to help concentration.

Rom's opening volley with Strange Visitor swayed my vote.

Taskmaster's strategy is more complete, though I don't agree with all of it. Still, he utilized all of his team's abilities better, which is what gets my vote.

Kadabra has cast spells fast enough to snag the Flash mid-run, and Strange Visitor isn't very experienced with her powers. With that in mind, Taskmaster also had the more in-depth and well thought-out strategy.

I vote for Taskmaster. I have some problem with some of the details (How's Hal going to taunt Alan without sound? And using Deathstroke to stalemate MAXIMA!?!) but his overall strategy is sound. Rom's strategy is entirely too dependent on Zatanna, and I think Taskmaster does a pretty good job of taking her down. Kadabra's a more powerful "magician" than Zee and fast enough on the draw that he can get a spell off right away.

A great battle indeed. Thank you Taskmaster for the battle, questions though.
While Abra can give Flash fits, his first intended target is Zatanna and his negation of sound spell leaving him open to a very very fast attacking Strange Visitor. Speaking of open most of the team is left open to attack and Hal who is arguably the most powerful guy on Taskmasters team spent his first move goading Alan Scott before braeking off to attack Strange visitor. This would give the Ray an open shot at Hal. If I am not mistaken we are still a distance away from each other, I think a football field or so away, which would negate Deathstroke and Deadshots attack or at least hamper it. I don't think the weapons have that much range but I have been mistaken before, many many times. The adage goes "speed kills" and Strange Visitor has speed in spades so Abra, Cyborg and the others are getting pummeled by someone who can move faster than they can react and with no defense stated except for maybe Cyborg they should have gone down. This is in addition of the fact Zatanna also casted a sleeping spell. Thank you again Taskmaster, I bid thee good luck in the rest of the tourney! Now back to the Vault to lick my wounds.

(The taunting without sound bugged me too.)

I'm unconvinced that Strange Visitor could maneuver effectively at super-speed while simultaneously fire energy blasts AND adjust mass. Not least being somewhat of an amateur, as pointed out.

More detail then "taking out" may have helped.

Clearly a lot of thought on both sides.

I'm voteing for rom cause i think strange vister has a very good chance of takeing out kadra before he get's his spell of if she is movieing at lightspeed.
As for kadra tagging flash personally i think that's just pis for the story to then actual showing of kadra's speed.

Thanks guys, and thanks for a heck of a battle Rom, lol I cna't believe I didn't think of Hal taunting Alan without sound, oops, lol. Well he would've still distracted him coming straight at him anyways so that really doesn't affect my strat too much, plus as for Deathstroke stalemating Maxima, hey he's just gotta distract her long enough for help to arrive and as fast and skilled as he is (he can take on whole teams including the Titans (all generations and the JLA) he can keep her busy for a while (knowing Maxima making her more and more frustrated in the process)
