In the World War III story in Morrison's JLA, Aztek released all the 4th dimensional energy that powers his suit. That hurt the Maggedon thingy enough for the JLA to be able to finally defeat it.

After reading the write-up at Buzzscope.com, I am quite interested in the title. I regret picking this title up at the time but I don't feel too guilty because I was only 10 years old when it was being published and madly in love with The X-Universe and The Clone Saga.

Is Aztek worth buying? Did anyone else like the series? Thoughts?

I liked the series. It has the quirkiness you find in most Morrison titles. I thought Aztek was an interesting character with a fascinating origin.

Same here. And I thought he showed alot of fortitude in WWIII when he had been blinded and still tried to do his "job" per se.

It was a decent series, really hampered by the ugly, indecipherable art.

Why did they have Mike Weiringo do just the covers? Would've bought it if he did the insides.

The art was a little bit of a mess, but it really wasn't helped by the feeble colouring. Looked as bad as some of the Atlas colouring jobs.
