Because of her heavy involvement in all the goings on, and because the villians must fear her doing more mind-wipes, might the villians consider killing her? Even more might Zatanna take her own life? She knows that much of what has happened resulted from villians learning what had been done to them. She has been shown to feel guilty and even Batman's action with the omac deal can be at least partialy laid at her feet. Could the events yet to happen be to much for her?

Why don't you read her current mini-series to find out what happens to her?

no.........

Yeah, all the Seven Soldiers minis are rumored to be happening Post-Infinite Crisis. If that's true, then we can see what she's up to after IC right now. And the last issue comes out in a couple weeks.

Not only should Zatanna not die, but her current return to prominence should continue. Get her a regular series (Morrison/Sook) and get her into the JLA.

Is Morrison's Zatanna continuity the same as mainstream DCU? I was under the impression that this wasn't always so in Seven Soldiers.

even so--we won't know what happens to her in seven soldiers until seven soldiers #1 that won't come out until 4/06. in that issue 'one soldier will die.'
my bet is not on zatanna

Except for one thing, it appears that this Zatanna is the one from the mainstream DCU. Her background with theJustice League is mentioned, her father Zatara is shown performing stage magic (and he briefly mentions his own crimefighting exploits), and even the manner of his death is a reasonable interpretation of what happened at the end of the original Crisis. The exception is that there is a dramatic difference in her power level in the mini, but that ties directly to an important plot point in that mini, so I think that she's the real deal from the mainstream DCU.

What I want to know is, what will happen to the villains that Zatanna's been mindwiping if/when Spectre succeeds in destroying all magic in the world. Will her mindwipes fade without the magic to sustain them?
Does her low power level in the mini have anything to do with Spectre? Hmm...

In Adventures 844, she said she only had enough magic left to teleport the kids once out of the building.
IIRC, she said "And then, you want me to lobotomize you?!? Even if I had the power to, I wouldn't!"
She did mention the war on magic by the Spectre so I imagine her low power level is being effected by the Spectre...

Frankly, I'm shocked that none of the villains have tried to kill her. If I were pissed at being mind-wiped, I'd go after the one who did it to me.
Chances are that most villains are terrified of her whether they admit it or not though.

But as Metzer so eloquently wrote the JLA busting Deatstroke feat, he obviosly thinks so little of her to take her out #4 out of a group that includes Hawkman, Black Canary and Green Arrow...
