The WWE has invited Kevin Von Erich backstage to RAW tonight. Von Erich has confirmed that the WWE wants to purchase the TV/Film Library of the World Class footage. This stuff is pretty much sought after and if old fans will remember , it aired on ESPN back in the 80's and early 90's.
Von Erich has pretty much said the sale is a done deal and will happen today or tomarrow.
The footage you saw on WWE RAW: 10 Years eXposed of Bret Hart was new footage lifted from his DVD Commentary. They could air more to hype the DVD in the coming weeks.
ABC News has an article up online that says that wrestling has been a TV Staple for over 20 years. Go to ABC News to read it.
The attitude backstage is huge for the RAW Brand. Everyone feels its a new start and chance to kick off a new era. Meanwhile the Smackdown wrestlers feel that WWE Homecoming has killed interest in thier upcoming PPV this week and aren't happy with it.
There is talk within Spike TV to see if TNA can draw a respectable enough rating that they will move the show to Mondays at 8pm. Its believed that the Saturday time-slot will be a chance to get TNA off the ground to build thier national fanbase.
A Dallas radio station has claimed that The Rock could be a suprise guest tonight. Its only a rumor thus far. But in the earlier hype Rocky's name hasn't came up as showing up.
Spoiler:
Rob Van Dam is backstage at RAW. No word on what his role is. But he's there. Thier kickin RAW off with the Kurt Angle/Shawn Micheals match so who knows.
