All right, who is psyched for this tonight?
I am, since it is my birthday, my plans is to sit back and watch the mindless violence. :D
I look forward in seeing Stone Cold and Mick Foley tonight, its a nice B-day present from Vince.
Foley in Piper's Pit!
Mick better just remember, "Sooner or later, EVERYBODY has to pay the Piper!" :D
And I'll be upset if Jimmy Hart doesn't wear his Naturals coat.

I'm pumped up about it. I've got it scheduled to record right now, but I may give in to the temptation to watch it live. With my work and school schedule, it's usually Wed afternoon before I get to finish watching a normal 2 hour RAW. I'm pumped!

So is Kane gone now? I know EL won't like to hear this, but after just watching the 30 minute iron man match of HBK vs. Kurt Angle, I'm more convinced than ever that HBK could be Champ (the same goes for Angle of course).

He only does Wrestlemanias now. But I wouldn't be surprised if he was on the outs, seeing as they "accidentally" forgot him when Blade Trinity was out.

The Rock is also without a WWE deal. They let it run completely out and never really tried to renew it. Its been said that it hurt Rocky's feelings more or less as Vince has apologized about it.
But thus far...no new deal annouced and Rocky hasn't showed in more than a year and half.

The Rock had mended fences with the WWE. But after the debacle of the WWE not getting his contract done for WM 21, I'm not sure he's all too psyched about breaking his neck to help his forgetful friends. But he has contacted Ross and has brought up how he will be back down the line. He might be back before Taboo Tuesday as they will be in his area.

Rock has told in interviews he doesn't plan to wrestle if he does agree to Wrestlemania 22. So I really doubt he's gonna return before Taboo Tuesday. Hell...they've been in his area a lot. Lets just say theres no relationship there and Vince is scared shitless he'll do a TNA appearance. Thats why Jim Ross is beggin and pleading for Rock online.

Oh I know. I read it. Ross brings his name up in his Reports and Rock has stated he will be at WM 22 but not in any wrestling capacity. Makes sense after the WWE went of their way to not HAVE him in a wrestling capactiy this year when it mattered. He'll be on a promo tour for Doom very soon and will have to get right back to work on Southland Tales, I believe. But he might show up on the Raw before or after Taboo Tuesday in early Nov. It's been one year and two months since his last WWE appearance. He'll show someone when he shows up though. There's no doubt about it.

Considering this is the longest he's been away it would take Vince kissin a lotta ass. Thier doing a good job thus far kissin it. Just that he's no longer under a contract and can do what he wishes. So it must make Vince worry if TNA puts the right offer on the table for him. They have the money...so who knows.

Boy , you really do not get it. THe ROCK isn't going to TNA anytime soon , and probably never will. The Rock is now currently concentrating on his movie career and only his movie career , if and when he makes a wrestling appearance , you can bet that it will be in a WWE Ring , not TNA. In his recent interview , he said it himself.
Question: A couple of months back you were quoted as saying you'd never wrestle again?
The Rock: Really? I never said that. It was a misquote. But Wrestlemania? No, probably not. Maybe an appearance. As far as for wrestling, I love that and I love that live crowd interaction. But I got into movies to grow professionally and become good at what I was doing. And it's all about that for me.
Question: Would you have to bulk up again if you went back?
The Rock: No. Not at all. I've done everything that I've wanted to do in wrestling, with the help of...I've had the chance to work with a lot of good guys. And I've still got a lot of good relationships there. But for me the most important thing is moviemaking and becoming really good at what I do.

Again.....this is wrestling. Never say Never. The Rock could change his mind tomorrow. Hell , once his deal ran out back in the Spring TNA did approach him about doin a few appearances and once that was told , Vince apologized and started klssin the Rock's ass to get him back. I expect this week the online ass kissin to continue.

Let's be honest , as he had said in his interview , he still have a lot of good relationships there with the WWE , it's the only place he knows and it's where he started. His move into movies started with the WWE consent , irregardless of what happens in the future with his movie career , The Rock will always be WWE. I don't see TNA coming into it at all , the rumors of them approaching the Rock are just that , rumors , because at that point , they do not have TV and doubt that they are rich enough to hire him but the rumors can only helped them. They are probably the ones spreading it.
The best they can do is Tito Ortiz who's a UFC has-been now and who have been trying to break into hollywood with not much success , either playing a bit role as a thug or a wimp(in the case of the Crow 4 : Wicked Prayer).
For now though , the Rock is concentrating on his movie career and good for him , he's becoming a major movie star with so many movie roles lined up.

One of the Rock's sticking points on not doing a TV Spot for TNA then was the lack of National Cable exposure. Thats changed with TNA Impact. TNA has a wish list of guys and Goldberg , Lesnar , Sting and someone else I have forgotten are on thier list at trying for.
And Tito isn't that much of a has been. Before The Ultimate Fighter , him and Ken Shamerock were pretty much known for UFC. Its just that once a new " Money Maker " emerged they decided to say f-ck Tito because its cheaper to book the kids off TUF than pay him.

Goldberg , Lesnar , etc , it's their wishlist , it's just TNA wishing mainly . :D They would have to pay Goldberg & Lesnar a hell lot more $$$ than any of their current superstars are earning to even have a remote chance of them turning out and i can't see that happening.
Irregardlessly of whether Tito is a has-been or not (he's sure on a fasttrack to being one) , the fact that he's no longer with the UFC and are struggling to make it in Hollywood would suggest that he doesn't really have much say in how much $$$ he can get from TNA for appearing , he doesn't have much of a choice really. He's no longer with UFC and he's struggling in hollywood , he's not going to command that much of a fee.

He's got an open six fight contract with PRIDE he can capitalize on if he wanted to. He's also helping Rick Bassman with his Valor promotion.
I'd say he's far from struggling.

I went to the valor website and i don't see Tito mentioned anywhere at all , even Bas Rutten is in there and he's not even a fighter anymore and doing much better in hollywood than Tito as a B-action actor. I also saw Sean O'Haire on that website , seemed like he's doing pretty well nowadays , WWE did drop the ball on him.
As far as Pride , once Tito's out of $$$ , he'll probably have to take it and get his ass whooped for his troubles.

Plus Tito has talked about wrestling now. So he may take a career in in Pro Wrestling and follow Ken Shamerock and Abbott into the sport. So who knows.
Also TNA has a Million dollar company behind them. They have had Sting before and came close to gettin Foley. Except Mick decided he needed a WWE run so he could get RKO'd as usual.
If Brock signs with New Japan a talent deal is being worked out for him & others. TNA wants to trade talent back and forth. And hell....Lesnar could now be allowed to work for TNA since he got outta his "No Compete " clause in court.
Goldberg is into movies now and TNA could cross promote a movie he does down the road to help his profile in it. Thats being discussed for down the road.

Hogan and Bischoff denying this was pretty funny. But that happens when you blow a million bucks and sign a guy for 20 or 30 Nitro's and a bunch of PPV's and he bombs. You deny you do it.
Bischoff trying to say he didn't pay the Warrior much is so funny I nearly fell outta my seat laughin. :)
