theres ALOT,though its mostly the x-films but i'll get to that l8ter.
but as of now i would have to say the dawn of the dead remake.i remember people was saying that it was gonna be pg-13,and it was gonna be a teenage comedy.obviously these was rumors made up by desenting fans of the original, either that or it was cynical speculation..as a matter of fact 99.9 percent of the cast was middle aged adults.the only kids was the lil girl, and the babby.and the only teen was matt frewer's daughter.

When there was discussion of a possible Sgt. Rock movie, one source (CBG) reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger was being considered for the title role.
One of the psychics for The National Enquirer claimed that John Travolta would play Superman in the third movie.

The X-Films. I remember that thus far X3 will suck and everyone will die. And that everyone from Deadpool to Gambit will get a role in this. Its just wild.
Plus I saw on a news show that the script writer for X3 has already said his script has went thru a few rewrites like the last 2 movies and theres nothin set in stone. So why everyones attackin it shocks me.

- Jake Gyllenhaal had "signed on" to play Superman.
- Eminem would be playing Batman.
- The whole "Jack Black in a Green Lantern comedy" thing.
- Justin Timberlake playing Tony Stark in an Iron Man film.
- During the PR for Bryan Singer's Superman, both Brandon Routh & Kevin Spacey would "come out" to boost publicity and make Superman a "gay icon".

During the brief period where Tim Burton was in charge of the Superman movie, there were rumors about Glenn Close as a bald Lois Lane, Superman in a pink costume that showed his organs (someone must have given the guy an old Slim Goodbody tape), and Brainiac fighting Polar Bears in the Fortress of Solitude.

When Kevin Smith did the screenplay for Superman, the producer wnated to have a giant spider (this ended up being in Wild Wild West) because his daughter's play had one (!) and he wanted Supes to fight two polar bears.

Jon Peters (the producer in question) also wanted Brainiac to have a gay (homosexual) robot sidekick.

Not comic related, but when "Battlestar Galactica" was in pre-production I heard a rumour that it would be filmed like a reality TV show, like Cops in space. I ignored everything Battlestar related until recently.

THe James Cameron Spider-man treatment.
The bad guy was a cross between Electo and Kingpin, Peter doing a mating dance for Mary Jane, the bondage sex scene and organic webshooters (oops).
Add the fact the only person Cameron thought could play SPidey is Leonardo DiCarpio.
I'm so glad that movie was never made.

Jon Peters (the producer in question)
Who the hell is this guy? I want to remove his scrotum from his body and stick it so far down his thorat that he'll be spitting semen for a fortnight.
Okay. That might be extreme but seriously. This guy must be nuts.

He used that conections to become a producer. his so talent is being able to take credit for other peoples work.
His idea for superman was no flying, giant robot spider, polar bears, gay robots, and the supermobil.
All this crap would have turned into toys and since he thought of them he would have gotten a huge share of any toy sales.
He turned Wild Wild west into a joke, a black james west in 1870? Doctor lovless went from a class villian who wanted to build a pardise for children [and if a few cities had to be blown up to get his famlies land grant back, so be it!] as portrayed Dunn
Peters turned him into racist with his lower half blown off. There used to be a anti- john Peters web site, i have no isea if it's still around.
