Always liked Jewel the best* (it's the "geek girl" thing). Followed closely by Morena.

But Summer was damn fine in the movies.

Had a crush on Saffron, too. Such a fiesty red-head!

*she's so innocent and niave you just want to hold and protect her :)

I noticed something about the "Attractiveness Factor" of the Serenity cast. While they are definitely good-looking people overall, they don't have the overly polished look of most TV/movie casts. For me, that made Mal sexier, Gina more lovely, and Kaylee's smile more gorgeous. Despite the scifi setting, these could be people off the street or in any given school or workplace. That drives up the Cool Points Count for Firefly/Serenity imo.

Yeah, I think on eof the strong points of Whedon's stuff is the casting. He usually seems to goi for the good actors, in contrrast to a lot of shows which seem to cast for the look and just hope they can act half-decently. Although I thought he began top slack off a bit in the last years of Angel.

Morena is the unattainable perfection.

Christina is the one you tell that ripped your heart out.

Gina would kill me.

Chari is a traitor and not worthy of inclusion.

Summer is unexplainable.

Jewel is the one who comes out on top for sheer beauty, zestiness, and superness.

Many gorgeous women, but I'm going with Gina Torres. She looks like she could kick my ass and make me like it. Her character is a great combination of powerful and feminine.

Give me Jewel any day of the week. I always go for the less obvious beauty. Jewel has an infectious spirit that just makes you like her.

I agree, and I didn't find any of these cast members to be truly beautiful. But Inara was elegant, Kaylee was so sweet, and Saffron was sizzling sexy. River was actually just weird-looking, but in a way that held my eye. Zoe wasn't attractive to me, but she was one of the most badass female characters ever.

In answer to the original question, I would choose Saffron. Which is odd, because I don't find redheads especially attractive, and I usually prefer ethnic women like Inara or even Zoe.

Chari and Kaylee are cute though.

Nice to know that Kimberly McCullough is in the show, as I have yet to run into her on Sci-Fi.
