I hit a comics mart yesterday and bought a shed-load of back issues.

Among the things I picked up was The Kents miniseries by John Ostrander, Timothy Truman and Tom Mandrake.

Issue #9 BTW had a pretty glowing letter by Augie in it, complimeting the storytelling, writing and the character work on Nate and Jeb Kent.

Since we both seemed to like it, how about a retrospective in an upcoming column?

That WAS a great series. I really had a letter in it, eh? I didn't remember that. Go fig - I'm better than I give myself credit for. ;-)

As for a retrospective: While I wouldn't rule it out, I don't see it happening anytime soon. I'm so buried under new releases that I really have to get an itch to go back to a series to reread it. Of course, now that you've placed the burr in my saddle, you never know when it might pop back up again.
