I forgot were but i read that in March 06 in ultimate spider-man deadpool will debut in the ultimate line and in sept 06 the clone saga will come out if any one has any coments just post.

am i theo nly one that finds that ultimate ben reily is black a bit weird? i mean is hes supposed to be parkers clone should he at least look like parker? besides remember from ultimate carnage arc he takes parkers blood sample. so maybe ben is the one who clones parker instead on ben being the clone. im still waiting for an actual ultimate carnage and not that lame spiderclone that did jack.

In the Ultimate universe he's not his clone though... so it doesn't matter if he's black. I'd say more then likely he'll be the one who clones Peter.

In the Ultimate universe he's not his clone though... so it doesn't matter if he's black. I'd say more then likely he'll be the one who clones Peter.
yeah i guess but who knows with bendis. for all we know hes going to make the ultimate jackel show up and say that reily is a clone and was a spy to find out about parker. sounds extreamly stupid but im sure bendis will do something weird like that

Who is Deadpool? I nevery reallt knew his history some say is a clone from spider-man but i really don't know. Can anyone clearify for.

He actually has nothing to do with Spidey, aside from a vaguely similar costume and a penchant for wisecracks. Wade Wilson is Rob Liefeld's attempt at spoofing Slade Wilson, AKA Deathstroke, a popular Teen Titans villain. He's an insane mercenary with a wicked sense of humor who'll quip you while killing you... kinda like Spider-Man meets the Punisher. He's also a survivor of the Weapon X program, so he has a healing factor to put Wolverine's to absolute shame, but also horrible scarring on his face. He started out as an absolutely terrible, uninteresting X-Force villain, but then he got his own series and a host of talented writers -- foremost among them Joe Kelly and later Gail Simone -- made him actually a really entertaining character. Right now he's sharing a book with Cable, written by Fabian Nicieza, that people seem to think is pretty good.

Im not really into ultimate anything...so i could care less. i was kind of psyched about the rumored deadpool movie with ryan reynolds from blade 3 (terrible, TERRIBLE movie, just so you know where i stand as a person...but he was great in it) but now im hearing rumors about ryan playing the flash..so im not getting my hopes up. still, deadpool is one of the comic characters i think would best transition onto the big screen. gotta love the wiseass remarks...

I think Ben is going to clone Petes powers into himself, making himself a clone of Spider-man and not Peter or something like that.

It'll only be fun if it's the former.
As for a Deadpool movie, it would have to be R-Rated and be written by someone who gets the character. Him just being violent isn't quite enough. I would love to see Ryan Reynolds in that role... Wade even compared himself to Ryan during the first arc.

I remember reading somewhere that Bendis would never do a clone story and to really drive that point home he was gonna have some random character named Ben Reilly show up and die. Anyone know maore about this than i do?

Are you insinuating that Cable/Deadpool isn't funny? Are you sure you read the content of said comic instead of just the ad on the back cover?

Eh, I love Deadpool. Now, Cable/Deadpool isn't on par with Deadpool runs like Kelly, Priest, or Simone, but, then again, each one did something special to the character.
Personally, I feel Cable/Deadpool is more like a sitcom anyway, and closer to Kelly's run in that regard. But, I wil not discount the groundwork Kelly did for the way we look at DP currently. Kelly's run just hit a snag after the first 2 years of the book. Then it transformed from DP's personal growth adventure to wacky sitcom.
Where was I? Ultimate Deadpool? I'll be sure to pick it up anyway to see what is in store for my favorite merc with a mouth.
