What ever happened to Singer's arc?

I was reading an article on newsarama.com and i read that Robert Kirkman will have a new Ultimate X-Men arc by January 2006. What about Singer's arc? I thought it was December 05 to November 06?

It got pushed back several times, but supposedly is still going to happen. The most recently announced timeframe is May '06. At this point, I question whether it's going to happen at all frankly. But we'll have to wait and see what Quesada says.
