Ok, so yesterday I was watching TV. and I saw this promo that said FOX was bringing back GI Joe. My first thought was, 'sweeeeeeeet', but then, a second later, they were showing clips, and it was anime. I'm not sure if thats good or bad, buz he's like GI Joe, the real american hero, he kicked asian ass in WW2, but I'm not sure if this is a good thing. I've been noticing lately that alot of shows and comics that I used to love are coming back anime style, like Transformers, or Teen Titans, and they were ok, but... GI Joe? Somebody please tell if this is a good thing...
GI Joe has already been redone in a more modern fashion once. That's the version most of us think of as definitive. To protest the new version is hypocrisy. If you don't like it, don't watch it, continue to think of the old version as G.I. Joe, and let the new version bring in a new generation of fans. Just like the Joe fans before you did.

The new version is called Sigma Six, and airs on Saturday mornings at 11 am. Animationwise, it's not bad. Pretty decent. Destro, Cobra Commander, Stormshadow, Zartan, etc. look pretty good. Storywise, it's alright so far. Not much has happened. Although, some of the Joes seem to have superhuman powers or something (Heavy Duty carrying a boulder and Snake Eyes running like the Flash).
I hate the theme song though. It makes my ear bleed.
