OK, so we have a scene where Batman is perusing his files on Catwoman, with pictures of her old Silver Age costume incarnations. He implies that she used to be a "vicious enemy", was a member of the SSoSV, and that she may have been the victim of a Zatanna-botomy.
Am I correct in assuming this is a clear contradiction of her Post-Crisis history? Especially the Silver Age outfits?

Not really. It's possible that after all the Year One related stories the FM costume gave way to the Silver Age variations until she went to the Ballent issues costume which gave way to the current version.
Plus keep in mind, character histories are in flux at the moment.

Yeah I've actually been having a bunch of questions on continuity post-crisis, and it's all seemingly IC related re:JSA:CLASSIFIED.
But what I thought was cool was how it tied into the whole history of Batman and Catwoman, even including year one, and was just more sh** for the storm that has been Batman's life lately. They really are pushing him to the brink in a really character driven way, and it rationalizes Bat-dick. All I know is I'm dying to see what IC has in store for Bats.

God I hope she wasn't mind-wiped. I'm SO tired of this mind wipe crap.

Yeah I hope she wasn't mind-wiped too, but the idea that it's weighing on Bats and a possible explaination of why he holds back from her so much, thats intruigue.

I made the same complaint over in the JLA thread, but as it was pointed out there and here, there's a large block of Catwoman's post-Crisis history unaccounted for. After "Year One" and her initial mini-series, we didn't really see her again until the late 80s, around when Tim Drake first appeared. She could conceivably have donned her goofy SA outifts and worked with (maybe not joined) the Society.

Bad news for the "good" Catwoman. We may see a return to villianhood by the time this is all over.

I am a huge and therefore bias catwoman fan
and while I still have hopes for catwoman and batman let me just say that I really hope that DC won't screw around with the direction that catwoman's life has taken...

DC's 'Silver Age' event a few years back did feature Catwoman as a member of the Injustice League.

How could Zatanna make Catwoman good and not the other villians?

Well, as long as she's still stealing from the "man" I can cope. But I won't be able to cope if it's a return to the "hoochie mamma" Catwoman! But I don't think that Will will let that happen.

Back in 1976 when Secret Society of Super-Villains #1 came out, there was a page that listed the SSOV membership.
It listed Catwoman as a member but she was never seen that issue nor throughout the series etc. Later on in the letter column, a reader wrote in that he saw Catwoman listed as a member but that she wasn't seen.
I think this could be a thmbs-up and tribute to that first issue.
I was also interested in the various Catwoman costumes that Selina was said to have worn when they were written out of DC continuity.
In 1986 around the time of Legends, which was a post-crisis story, Catwoman's reformation into a heroine was still in continuity before she was re-villainized by the Joker and Dr. Moon.
Then came the Batman Year 1 stories in Batman 403 or 404 shortly afterwards and Catwoman's becoming a heroine, being romantically involved with Batman/Bruce, and a part of the "Terrific Trio" after Batgirl was gone was no longer in continuity.
Her costume was that gray one she wore.
Furthermore, Nocturna and the Night-Slayer--both of whom were prominent in the Jason Todd years as Robin were no more. Jason Todd was retconned into being juvenile delinquent and student of Faye Gunn's crime school for boys.
I'm wondering with the Infinite Crisis coming up if continuity changes due to Crisis On Infinite Earths didn't just cause memories to be adjusted but if there were other forces at work such as memory-wiping spells.
