whatever happened to shadowcat? in issue 82 peter mentions that hes single and blah blah blah but back in the annul they say that shadowcat is his new gf so i guess my question is: is the annual cannon to the series? or is pete just playing two ends to the middle with black cat and shadowcat?

Maybe the annual takes place after the Warriors arc.

I know that Bendis writes way in advance, and he writes by the arc instead of by the issue.

The kitty/peter relationship should appear in the next story arc.
