I don't want to come off as too much of a jerk, but studios dont take unsolicited pitches from people using other people's creative property.
That's just not how TV gets made.
Having read some of your stuff, it's clear you have a good grasp on storytelling, but if you really want to make something of it, use your talent to make something you can someday take credit for. Fanfic is a hobby, not a career.

Well, actually fanfic is not just considered a hobby. It depends on who participates in fanfic. Somebody that just writes fanfic and only writes fanfic, well that person will never go anywhere really. Those who work on other projects as well as fanfic, can also get their fanfic out there.... think about it: David Goyer, Bryan Singer, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, MSJ. These are all people in the business going after super hero related stories. Goyer did the Blade series and is now doing Batman. Singer did X-Men and is now doing Superman. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar did Smallville, worked on Spidey 2, and other comic properties lined up in the future. MSJ did Daredevil and is now working on Ghost Rider. All which could be considered fanfic in one way or another, but they have worked on different projects non superhero related- thus they have managed to finally get into doing these "fanfics" that they always wanted to do. See my drift? That's like me. Lots of original projects, but do you think I would put those on here? I wouldn't. Thus, I work primarly on fanfics right now because those are something that I can release to the general public, I don't need to copyright it. I have a low budget screenplay concerning mythology that is somehow original superhero based (similar to Punisher mixed with Ghost Rider) that I am working on, and my own mythology trilogy concerning a superhero's life and untimely death. I also have my eyes out for working on Catcher in the Rye, I know how to adapt it.
PS. I'm not really going to become a writer. I may have story ideas, but I am smart enough to submit them to an actual writer so that he can help improve on my ideas. I'm an aspiring director, who also does writing on the side. So, it's not just super heroes I am interested in- I'd love to do films like Life as a House, Ladder 49, horror genre movies, adventure films, thrillers, etc.. I love everything about film and am not tied down to the "fan limits" of fanfiction. So, once I pitch this series I will also establish myself in the business and I'd probably head over to MARVEL studios first and see if I can tell them my ideas and then go from there.
Also, studios are obviously interested in the super hero genre. Let's see- Blade, trying to get Flash and Batman off the ground, Smallville, Punisher, has done Hulk, Spider-Man, Captain America live action in the 70's era. So, super hero genre related pitches to television studios- as long as the lay out is good, you've got fan support, and you've got the company by which that comic property came from studios are more than willing to listen.
So, you have more of a shot taking a chance in me, then someone that is only limited to fanfiction. And as I said, I want to be a director and participate in all types of films. Thus, I've got more of a shot than say- someone that only writes fanfics and goes to conventions dressed as our favorite webslinger. I'm not that guy, I'm the one giving directions on a film about a family and their difficulties, or to a detective interrogating for clues for the case, or even running away from an axe murderer- that's the guy I am. So, will this series happen? It might, I'm not limited and I am not afraid to go into realms of comics that some may stray away from. Heck, my whole second season is planned to have time warps, madame web, Red Skulls and parallel dimensions. I'm not afraid, I pursue my dreams of being a BROAD director, thus this might or might not work out. Don't anticipate it coming in the next five years, but 10- 15.... well, that's possible.

Well, I love your take on Spider-Man. I'm sure it would be hard if not unlikly that you can get this on T.V. But if or when you ever do, I will be one of the first to watch every episode. I love Smallville and Spider-Man, and to see the two meet, that would be great. I was never really a fan of Superman until Smallville came out. And I'm sure you could get more people into Spider-Man. To me, there is nothing better than a story that tell's about the ENTIRE life of a superhero. And Spider-Man has always been good with doing that, but you have just done one better by delving even deeper into Spider-Man's social life. I'm rootin' for ya!

Yeah, that's something I'm trying to do. Spidey has this whole mythology around him. Lots of classic villains and a great web that was created through the Kingpin, Norman Osborn, and this episode we finally introduce Justin Hammer as well as the Daily Bugle! In episodes to come George Stacy will even have his introduction. The arc of the series is the Gwen Stacy arc, and for those that don't know that classic story of drama- I'm not going to give anything away. But, that's the story that I'm telling. Meaning, no MJ until the fourth season.

Hey,
Not to crap on anyone's parade here, but it seems like your very defensive of something you put on the web for the world to see.
With a multi-multi-million dollar property like spiderman don't you think they might go with someone who's actually done tv/movie work before? Maybe you should set your sights on something a little more attainable first, and then move on to characters that have already set box office records.

I will be building upon my resume and I have alot of original projects lined up that can be easily made, I was lucky- I have a rich father, thus I can get a great independant budget to help me out. Some of these ideas are dark, but by and by would probably prove that I have what it takes. It's just a matter of finding people as passionate as I am to add to the actual Triligors team. I know it takes a long time to get a name out in hollywood. But, I also know that I'm not limited to fanfiction which gives me a heads up. I'm one who would jump on a chance to even film films such as Life as a House and Ladder 49, etc.. Because I'm more drawn to the human aspects and a character's arc of a story, not the whole superhero angle of it. Thus, I will spend many years making connections and trying to wedge my way in there. I don't know how long it will take to get this project to air, but I know that right now the technology isn't there and Marvel wants make sure they get the right guy for the job. I know this character, I know a specific arc that would wield everything together and how to use these characters to their fullest potential. As I said, I love the whole pyschological aspects of characters and I know this character and this story very well. It's just a matter of introducing myself and the project to Marvel. Which I will have to build myself up before I actually start to pitch. But, due to technology and more Spider-Man films, I have time.

This is a christmas special episode that I decided to write. In a way it is also a parody of some of the themes that run throughout a Marvel Comics Christmas edition- so not everything is to be taken seriously.

My main concern would not be that you are a relative unknown, as talent will sometimes win out if you can get teh right poeple to notice it.
My main worry would be how on earth do you show someone webswinging through the skyline of newyork and performing the neccessary acrobatics on a tv show's budget. In smallville they couldn't even make clark fly until the later seasons, and then not constantly.
When you throw in villain like the Lizard, sandman, venom et al, all of whom would surely need extensive CGI to portrat their powers, how on earth would it be doable?
Gotta say, I do like the ides on show though.

Great question. I did think this over. The series won't be pitched for another 10-15 years. The execs would say "hell no, that's way too damn expensive" for a long time. But, I am definite that once we hit that 10 to 15 year (possibly give or take a year or two) mark the effects will be there. And I mean great effects. For example, Superman: The Movie came out 27 years ago, 15 years later the same effects were manageable on a TV budget with LOIS AND CLARK. On TV you only see one big effect per episode. Some of what I have in mind will no doubt have to be brought down to budgetary levels. But, if you look at the effects on shows now such as SMALLVILLE and SUPERNATURAL. You'd see that our main problem would be the sky. Once we have the time to tame the sky, and possibly create a couple of new programs. Then there's no boundary to what we can and can not do. And give time years to catch up. The Human Torch for example, there will be a cameo), might not "flame on" entirely- but the fire effect, look at what SMALLVILLE has been able to do and advance that 10-15 years in the future and we're there.
So, basically my answer is. Give time to run it's course, right now it seems like it can't happen. But, if it's one thing I've learned it's that all effects in due time become cheaper the more that they are used and new less expensive techniques to accomplish those effects are often found. So, I'm not really worried in the effects department. Some things will work, while others will not. But, for the most part right now it looks really positive actually.

Our first introduction to web-slinging is in HOSTAGE. And it's the main effect of the episode.
For Swarm. There is no web-slinging. And bugs have already proven to be an accomplishable effect to do through Smallville's own bee-controlling villain and that was three years ago. So it's just using alot of crouching tiger, hidden dragon wirework.
In Murderworld. There is no overly special effects that can't be accomplished today.
In CHANGE the effect of having a double has been done in the past. The webzip is actually an easy effect. Since it's just Spider-Man going from one place to the next and effects can be added in the future to the practical effect that could pull this off. Harnessing the stunt man and practically having him "pully-zipped" to the ceiling. But, my effects guys would probably find a better and more innovative way to do this effect.
Our next web-slinging shot is found in PERSUADE which isn't an effects orienteed episode. It only has one effect and that's the POV of a bullet. And we see Spider-Man webslinging away and off into the distance. So it's not really as technical as the first shot of it found in Hostage.
BASILISK is an effects oriented episode. But, not without the realm of possibility. Aliens have been done on many TV shows, so this is not a big problem. And the "static man" would be a man in a blue screen suit running around. The UFO above at the end is manageable. So in this episode, it has alot of effects but budgetary wise they are really common effects and by the time this series is launched will be very easy to accomplish.
In ANNEX our difficult full blown effect scene is early on in the episode. And that's the bombing at the school. I am not aware of how the effects guys can pull this off. But, I do know that this is still manageable for the budget we will have. It's been done on shows before. This is just throwing two super powered villains into the mix and not the police team and a terrorist. The flashback of Otto and the arms will probably be deleted conceptually from the finished airing episode since it's just a flash back.
In CORRUPT our big effects shot is the bus blowing up.
In BERSERK, the end fight will definitely be tamed back to a smaller fight sequence.
So, all in all. The effects shots will be difficult. But not as hard as you might think. Some ideas will have to be altered, such as the final fight in BERSERK. But, most of what I have in the episode is within the realm of modern possibilities. We haven't even see Spider-Man web slinging around the city that much. I use it in certain episodes that I think it will add to. Similar to how SMALLVILLE uses "super jump" throughout the episodes but still keeps it to a minimum. The fact that I made it seem like there's alot of web-slinging is really a great job done on my part. In the episodes I always kept that feeling but I've kept it all off screen. Such as in HOSTAGE when Spider-Man is interviewed by Betty. We hear him land and his shadow but we don't actually see him arrive. Also in other episodes we just see him looking down from a rooftop above. And the "flying" cameras to introduce a location- this was inspired by the Daredevil establishing shots. But, basically. It's just a matter of how you go about achieving the effect. In the case of the series, we only have seen web-slinging for three times and once in actual pursuit (HOSTAGE).
