The last few years haven't been good for tag team wrestling. After hitting a career peak in 2000 with numerous tag teams , the last 2 to 3 years WWE wise has seen a stark drop off. In fact Tag Team wrestling hasn't been a high proirity since 2002 WWE wise.

But elsewhere...another company has picked up the fallen banner of Tag Team Wrestling and its: NWA-TNA. Yep....from XXX, Team Canada, Hall/Nash ,The Dudleyz , 3 Liv Kru , 2 Cool Dudes and the Naturals. NWA-TNA is stock full teams. And no team has dominated like the team that is: America's Most Wanted.

In the Begining: In the months leading up before NWA-TNA took off , James Storm and Chris Harris would end up wrestling each other numerous times . The 2 would become fierce rivals around Tennese.

Of course being able to have good matches against each other didn't stop TNA Promoters from thinkin up pairing them as a team. Who would know what this would do and how much it would pay off.

America's Most Wanted : The team is born!

In 2002 , " The Tennese Wildcat " Chris Harris and the " Cowboy " James Storm became AMW. It became quickly apparant that Storm & Harris are and were gonna be a great team as they had this chemistry. Thier ability to work and put on good tag matches endured them to fans.

In 2002 the team would face epic fueds with The New Church and S.E.X . The group XXX formed in 2003 and for 2 years AMW would wage epic matches inside cages, street fights and win numerous NWA World Tag Team titles. As one war ended ( New Church) the one with XXX went towards a decent finish going into 2004.

In 2004 the NWA decided to tease a split while James Storm recovered from arm surgery. Harris was given a solid singles push and fans were behind him. TNA bookers were toying with the idea to split the team and have Harris become a serious NWA World Champion contender.

But at this time TNA was close to getting on FSN and with a lack of tag teams , those plans were shelved for now. Harris and and Storm re-united and AMW went back on thier usual roll. This time at the end of 2004 in the Main Event of " TNA:Turning Point" AMW would put on one of the greatest Matches of the year with XXX.

The match became a quick " Match of the Year " candidate to many online people. And it was yet another feather in the hat of a tag team that would win the NWA Tag Titles again from Team Canada.

In 2005 after some choas with Dusty Rhodes , AMW lost the Tag Titles as it was to help futher the division with the Naturals and Team Canada. Of course now with the Dudleyz arriving things will really shake up.

AMW has recently turned heel and aligned themselves with Jeff Jarrett in a new heel group. Its expected that at TNA: Bound For Glory that AMW will seek to regain thier NWA Tag Titles and then face a war with the Dudleyz.

What does the future hold for the most dominat Tag Team in the last 3 years ? Well...as James Storm always tells the losers: " Sorry About Your Damn Luck."
