I'm jobless and broke on this day, my birthday.
I think I'll go spend my last few dollars and treat myself to some ramen noodles.
Feast of the beggars.

Thanks for the b-day wishes though folks. My wish is to find a new job before my savings run out. I refuse to ebay my Mignola/Sideshow stash. No matter what...

Happy birthday, Maurice!

It was great to meet you at SDCC. Hopefully we will run into each other again at future cons!

I hope that the next year brings all kinds of good fortune. :)

I quit actually. I'll regret it at some point, probably once my savings run dry, but I'm getting interviews so, it's just a matter of someone buying what I'm selling. We'll see. Cross your fingers.

Happy birthday, Spyda-man. I'm sorry to hear about your lack of employment, and hope things change for you soon. Just remember as you eat the Ramen, that in their eyes, you are a god. You know, if curly noodle-creatures had eyes. Maybe that's a bad analogy. I'll just say that closing one door will open up another opportunity for you. You'll see. Then I'll look wise. :D

Let us know how the job search turns out!

That's what I'm counting on JT. and I have not forgotten about you and the lady btw. My troubles at work are part of the reason there havn't been any results. I will reward your patience ten fold. Promise. It's just a question of when.

Same here. It'll be two years before I do another SDCC. I was rather disappointed by the last one, but I'll revisit it in 07.

You can always come to my town and do Dragon Con though.

Nice to meet you too Morna. You and the Mister. I hope you're unstunned now. All will be well. I'm practicing my burger flipping now so, there's always a spot on the Food Channel.

HAHAHAHAHA!!

That's a beautiful photo.

A piece of job-search advice: don't attach that photo to your résumé.

I may be skipping '06 too. Maybe someday I'll make it to Dragon Con. I have to meet T-Wyrm's wacky crew.

Yes, I did get to watch it. It was to short as you warned, but it was fun to see familiar faces. I have a great little story from when I stopped over at that store with Erin and her friend Chris. I had a little chuckle all by myself.

Happy Belated Birthday, Maurice! I've been unemployed for a bit myself and have yet to consider selling my Hellboy stuff. You're a smart cat, you'll figure something out. Hey, there's always prostitution :D
