The guy who was working on the Image pitch with me is going to work on one of my projects with me. He's going to use this AWESOME sort of Cooke/Timm by way of Kirby look.

I'm going to try to get his permission to post some art here.

Right now I really want him to do a project by myself and our own Trench, but am waiting to hear back from the big T.

If that doesn't pan out, I have others.

He colors his own stuff, which is cool. His black and whites don't look as "finished" as some at times because he "fills it out" with color.

Nice - finding good, reliable artists is tough. Even some pros can be pretty flaky. I've practically resigned myself to waiting until I have a name in novel writing and/or screenwriting to get a comics project done, but you never know...
