Spidey's got great powers, but most people kind of forget that locomotively speaking, they're only useful when he's got things like buildings and trees to swing from.

If he say, moved to the middle of a mid-sized town in Kansas with no large buildings or trees - how would he do?

How does he get around? Does he jog, or buy a spidermobile or what?

There was comic book that dealt with this. He was dealing with some Z-rank 'villain' called The Commuter (cuz' he commuted from the suburbs to the city where he committed his crimes), and he couldn't web sling when he tracked the guy to the suburb he lived in. A kid actually offered to lend Spidey his Big Wheel tricycle so Spidey could get around. :D

I've always wondered that question.

I suppose his best bet would be to just leap around Hulk style and crawl from spot to spot. Otherwise he'd probably need some kind of transport.

From what I've read in the past, he uses his powers to jump around much like the Hulk in a situation like that.
