A couple of weeks ago, I asked you all to vote on a new Masters of Evil
Without further ado, here are the results:

Baron Zemo
Mandarin
Electro
Lady Deathstrike
Viper
Mr. Hyde
Count Nefaria

Pretty damn good group here. I can see Zemo, Mandarin (Although I think he is dead), and Nefaria as a the triumverate in the group.

Thanks to everyone who played along. I did notice that there were some criticism over the way to pick a new MOE. But, since I enjoy these kind of threads, I might try something different in the future. Something from the DC boards that I'd like to try here.

It's an exciting line-up, but there is one significant problem: leadership. Baron Zemo, Mandarin and Count Nefaria are all accustomed to being the leader, and I believe that each of them has claim to noble lineage. There is no way that they are going to be able to function as a team.

EDIT: More problems. Baron Zemo no longer thinks of himself as evil, from what we've seen in Thunderbolts. And Mandarin seems to be a racist, so he would treat the others pretty poorly. Nefaria has become such a megalomaniac that he probably wouldn't even bother with a team, so that leaves several powerful villains in search of more teammates and a reasonable leader.

They could probably settle their differences for at least one arc in which they try to destroy the New Avengers.

I suppose. Mandarin was able to work briefly with Red Skull, Kingpin, Magneto, and others during the Acts of Vengeance crossover. Then again, that team collapsed as Magneto tried to kill Red Skull.
