mycomicshop.com can fix that little problem of yours.
I've only seen the preview issue zero, so I don't have much to go on, but to me it was averagely written teen superhero wish fantasy with groovy Campbell art.

J. Scott Campbell is a waste of space.

Why not more danger girl instead of this teeny tale?

It's like a girl you never cared about coming up to you and kicking you in the balls, then shouting to all and sundry that you have a penis the size of a green bean.

I saw the first four-five pages or so somewhere online, along with an analysis of just how hardly they sucked. I wish I could find it again...

You'll need to scroll down a bit, to the post that begins "J. Scott Campbell's "Wildsiderz" is a hilariously retarded congaline of clichés and stereotypes."

It's like Intimates would be if it were bad.

*crosses Wildsiderz off his list*
And I'm getting deja vu...did I ask this question before?

I was actually hoping it'd be something I might want to atleast take the time to try and find it. But not now

Really, writing-wise, it could be worse. And it has potential -- that is to say, it could actually be pretty darned good if the characters ever engage in any meaningful dialogue.
The plot has plenty of goofy elements, but the main weakness is, well...
You know the character Grunge in Gen13? Imagine 2, maybe 3 primary characters in a comic who lack his, err, intellect and depth of personality. This is bad enough in his clone, but so far "the Jock" and "the Babe" (or whatever they're called) are approaching this level of non-personhood.
However, we're, what, an issue and a half into this series? The two smart kids are actually fairly interesting, and the art is terrific. It's perfectly plausible that this story will go somewhere in an issue or two, and I'm willing to chance it.
But then, I also like fun, light comics. Among others. =)

art was pretty much what you would expect from JSC, excellent. I never did read it though. when i saw it for the first time in Wizard I was like "We waited five years for THIS!?" plus it had like a $3.50 or $4.00 tag on the first issue!!
I think only one issue has only been out in like, 3 or 4 months. He's already late for the second issue. I mean c'mon!

so far i've gotten every issue of this book. that's 0, 1, and 2. two was late coming out, three is late at the moment. it's definitely not danger girl which, imo, was fantastic, but it's got it's pros and cons. the artwork is good and the writing is ok. like i said it's nowhere near as good as danger girl.

Why does it cost that much?
Isn't it 22-30 pages?

it costs that much because it's got the name j. scott campbell on the cover.

Its surprising that after the demise of Cliffhanger that Campbell spent the last 4 years doing comic covers for different companies and when he comes up with a new book its really not an idea that is any more interesting than anythign else was on Cliffhanger. I think they would have had a hard time finding anyone to put out this book if it didnt have Campbell's name attached.
