Shout out to all those CBRians who gave me encouragement and good wishes, especially a week before the test, when I was seriously freaking out, but...

I pass the FLA bar exam! Woo-hoo!

Now, just have to find a J-O-B...

Wait, did I get that backwards. . . .

Congrats!

Thanks much, boys. As one wag put it, once I leave Wisconsin for Florida, I'll increase the average IQ of both states. Of course, that same guy told me that Green Bay was a mortal lock over Tampa Bay this weekend....

Welcome to the bar Doc. Now if only they don't learn about the Thai Transvestite Teen Prostitute, you should sail through the character and fitness part.

Just remember, if they found me to be of sound moral character, how high can their standards be?

I smell a lawyerly sitcom:

DR. HUFFENPUFF, Attorney-At-Law

Dr. Hfuhruhurr

Now I'm having second thoughts. Any club of which Boldido is a member...

And, West, believe me, my life provides much fodder for a potential sitcom. For example, my son seems to kick my in the groin on an every-other-day-or-so basis, and there's nothing funnier than that.

Out of curiosity Doc, have you read Hiaasen and Dave Barry?

Florida does seem a bit on the nutty side.

Love 'em both. And lived in FLA for a short time. It's definitely on the nutty side. But, Wisconsin's got it's fair share of nuts, too. After all, we are home to Ed Gein, Liberace and Chief Justice Wiliam Rehnquist.

I'm thinking an action/comedy with Doc and Boldido having zany antics as they manuever through the Florida legal system. Steeltwn'r can put in frequent guest appearances.

"Starring Mark "SteelTownr" B. as the "Wacky Neighbor."

This week's episode:

"The Alligator and the Five-Iron: Something Strange Lurks on the Driving Range"

I'm ... I'm ashamed to admit this: I have no idea who this person is. And you'd think in a state this size, I'd know just about everyone.

Wasn't there a TV series based somewhat loosely on Elmore Leonard's "Maximum Bob?" I never saw it (though I loved the book), but I think that's what we're aiming for. Mark B. would be better a la Mayberry's "Otis." You know, the recidivist ("that's one bonehead word") who keeps hiring me and Boldido to bail him out?

Call Paramount!
