View Full Version : I passed!!!!

At the beginning of June I made a huge career change by quitting the jail I had worked at for over three years. A lot of my final desicion to do that was based on a few friends I talked to about my state of mind at the time and the encouragement from CBR posters I got when I started tackling my delima. I went from being a corrections officer to pretty much clueless.

Since then I've been hired at an insurance company and have been working non stop to get my licenses. I'm still in training with the company but as of today as far as the state is concerned I am an insurance agent! I passed my final license exams.

I keep a lot of things quiet about myself but this one I had to share. I'm still so exhausted I haven't had time to really be happy, but I am. This job has been almost 100% better then being a corrections officer. I still get to do what I enjoyed doing. Playing with complicated computer stuff and help people, but now I'm not having to fight them and get disgusted at some of the things people do. I am out of that negative enviroment and I'm so much happier.

So, what happens if an alien ship crash lands on my house? Am I covered?

Jasper
09-23-2005, 05:29 PM
LOL depends if it was part of the invasion fleet. Aircraft is covered so if the ship had no ill intentions then yah. But war, insurection, invasions, nuclear fall out and radiation are not covered. There's other things not covered but that depends on the details in your home owners insurance. I know there is a form that covers spacships and aircraft. The above exclusions are on all property insurance unless added by an endorsement and there's no insurance company insane enough to insure those things.

Let's hope they were friendly or you can bribe them to pretend they are.

Depends on if you're a Scientologist...

If not, your premium shoots up, if so, then it's an Act of God-like Creator Beings.

And congrats, Jasp, kick ass! You can be like Mr Incredible except not!

Only if they're friendly aliens. Like Alf or Mork from Ork. If it's a Klingon or that space vampire dude from Buck Rogers, then you're fucked.

And if it's Jar Jar Binks, we're all fucked.

Oh, yeah, whoo again, Jasper.

Well done!!!

Coincidentally, I'm a bartender and I'm going for my real estate license.

I just started working for them. I don't know enough about the company to answer that.

When I considered going back to jail that was probably temporary insanity. I'm glad I didn't.
