View Full Version : Anyone else having trouble with hotmail?

For some reason I haven't been able to check my hotmail since yesterday. Every time I try to get to the page I get the old "Cannot find server" message. It's weird because Messenger is telling me I have new messages but I can't look at them!

"Can't" as in "not allowed to at work" or "I'm getting server problems too"?

I'm not allowed to at work. But mine was working as of this morning. I use the MSN Explorer for my e-mail program though, so that may make a difference, but yes, I was able to use my Hotmail as of this morning.

I haven't been able to access Hotmail since last night, either. I get the "Cannot find server" message as well. I live in Austin, TX... does that make a difference? I'm not sure if Hotmail servers are all condensed in one location or scattered throughout the country based on region. If they're scattered around, it might have something to do with Hurricane Rita? I know cell phone networks are completely crapped out down here.

I haven't had problems with mine today, but there were some issues a few days ago.

Not allowed. Most webmails are blocked by the filters. (I'm at a high school. A LOT of things are blocked by the filters...)

I can finally check my mail. I bet they had a bunch of servers crash or something. Good to know I'm not the only one.

I'm in Austin too. . and I was checking it all day (From work).

Probably not supposed to. . but . . oh well, I'm sure I'll get a warning if I'm doing something wrong.
