Hey all. There's been some discussion here and there regarding how the Sentry's hair keeps going from short to long and back again. This seriously needs to be rectified. Should he have long or short hair? I'm voting short.
So. The mullett. To be or not to be?

Mullet. I don't think we've had a comic mullet since Superman finally sheared his.

I don't think there's a reason for it, beyond some artists liking it one way and some artists liking it the other.
I prefer the more clean cut look, myself.

Yeah, I haven't read Jenkins' work on Sentry, but this most recent incarnation in NEW AVENGERS most assuredly did not have a mullet. Long hair, yes, but not a mullet.

Fair enough. The long hair is what I meant when I referred to the mullett.

I prefer the long hair to the military look.

Yeah... as someone who had a mullet for years, the Sentry definitely does not have one. Unwashed D&D player hair, yes, but not a mullet. And I vote that he keeps it long.

If 'mullet' = long hair, then I vote keep the long hair.
But that ain't no mullet. And I wouldn't vote for one, either.
And the beard. No time for shaving when you've got CLOC telling you to save somebody every few seconds...

I agree with Harold: I never thought of his long hair as a mullet. I think he should keep it though. As a long haired person myself, I think we are poorly represented in comics. I'm all for more male heroes (of any race) who don't have crewcuts or shaved heads. :)

This was done on the correct board some time ago.
Long hair long beard was my vote then and still is.

At first, I was liking him with the long hair, but now I don't know...
I'd say short hair if Jae Lee's drawing him, long hair if Dave Finch is drawing him.
Which basically is inconclusive.

And how exactly would you define the correct board Mr. Captain?

And how exactly would you define the correct board Mr. Captain?Sentry topics, of late, have been generally located on the Avengers board.
I wouldn't say it's "correct," exactly, but that's been the trend.

I like the clean cut hair myself but I'm not opposed to the long hair either.

The long hair looks good on him, especially with him being light blond and his costume yellow.
**slaps Tucker with a smelly fish for equating all long hair with the dreaded mullet**

how old is sentry?? hopefully he'll start losing his hair soon but keep the sides and back long and be the 1st marvel hero to rock a skullet.

I'd like to see him with a big, curly, yellow afro. It would make him stand out.

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
Edit from Mod: Nice try

I like the short hair. It goes along with the seemingly wholesome image the Sentry has, which provides great contrast to just how screwed-up he really is.
