I love comics much more than I do video games, so for me I'd give up video games in a heartbeat. Comics are a huge part of my life in reading them and discussing them. I'd give up video games before comics.

Not much of a gamer myself.
Last one I played was Star Wars Ep 1... when it was new.

I could give up comics before games, but really I could give up both without much regret. Neither of them are a focus of my life.
music or movies...that would be a much much harder choice.

Well, I haven't played any games in a while, so it'd be them.
But damn do I wish I hadn't lost my copy of Shenmue.

Games. While I love my PSP and old gameboy to death, I could easily give them the flick if someone held a gun to my head and made me choose. I'd go all smackdown on the bastard's ass for making me choose, but I'd give games up first.
BTW anyone know if there's a trade out for the first 6 issues of Runaways V2? I've come in terribly behind the times when it comes to Marvel TPBs.

Ya its out next Wednesday I think, its digest size.
I'd give up gaming as I don't play it much anyways.

Games. There's no question.
I don't own a gaming platform, and the only ones my family ever owned at all were a Game Gear and an Atari that my dad bought at a garage sale. And the last computer game I bought was Riven, which I never finished. (Maybe I ought to find it and complete it.)

I already made this decision. I chose to keep the games. More entertainment for the money.

Games.
The last gaming console I ever had was an SNES.

I enjoy the enjoy the occasional game now and then but i doubt i'd feel like making much of a fuss if some reason they stopped making them. The problem there is, every new game that comes out has to do something completely new and groundbreaking, cause if it feels like something i've played before, its just not going to be interesting for very long. Its getting harder to that, particurally now, as they take longer and longer and cost more and more to produce. It doesn't help that i can't go back and play my old favorites without thinking they look a little shoddy by todays standards.
On the other hand with comics, i've pretty much developed a relationship that equates to an alcholic with his booze.....Yeah, so what if i need my regular "fix"?....its only a little Planetary, i assure you i don't have a problem....now back off!...or i'll shove this broken beer bottle in your face!!

This question is the equivalent of asking me if I prefer water or food. If I’m forced to answer I would stop reading comics before playing video games. I spend about fifty dollars a week on comics which I read through in a matter of three hours, whereas one game for about the same price as a week worth of comics, will last me anywhere between twenty and one hundred hours. Also games are a far more interactive experience as you become Spider-man rather read a narrative visual description of his exploits. Another detraction comics have, when compared to video games, is that the medium requires its readers to have a great deal of patience. In order to fully enjoy any given story arc you have wait months if not years. Yet another advantage in games is that once you have a copy in your hands you don’t have to worry about it being cancelled halfway trough the story.
Now don’t get me wrong there are advantages that comics provide over game. First you don’t have to worry about your comics having bugs or glitches in it. The worst offenders I can think of off the top of my heard are Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Two. Another advantage to comics is that in theory new stories are available on a monthly basis. Game fans have to wait at least a year mostly likely two or three before a sequel comes out to their favorite game. The biggest advantage comics have over games is that when a comic book story is perfectly married with art it creates a magical experience that isn’t rivaled by any other form of entertainment.
