I have never seen these before. I'm sure they are on some list posted somewhere but I don't get to keep up with that stuff anymore. Thanks for sharing the link.

Anybody who is interested, bidding ends around 7:30 PDT 9/25, and it appears there are no bids on it as of 9/24 11 PM EST. Opening bid is $10. If you don't have an e-Bay account, they walk you through opening one and you can bid instantly.
Good luck.

Very early Mignola yet still very competent stuff.
I'm always amazed when I see Mike's early stuff, as it has such a Mike Ploog/Vaughn Bode feel to it. I guess all artists wear their influences in different ways. Mike has mentioned several times that in the beginning he very much wanted to be Frank Frazetta, but in all his striving for that look I personally think he always came much closer to the two artists listed above than Frank Frazetta. In fact, I'd go one further and say that at this point in Mike's career, he's surpassed Frank in many ways by going in completely different directions. Perhaps many would disagree as Frank is a modern master, but I'll take Mike's work anyday over Frank. Just my opinion though :o
