Hey all,

I recently stuck up my illustration site. One of the sections in the gallery is called 25. It was a little book I made for a friend's birthday about stuff that happened in famous fellas' lives when they were 25. Anyway, we're both big mignola fans so I attempted a Mignola-esque style.

This is probably the biggest centre of Mignola experts so I thought I'd post it up.

Blasphemy or homage:love to hear what you all think.

The 25 stuff is cool, but I really like the ones you did for your college. Some of those designs are great.

That's a great tribute to a friend, very well done! You've got a fantastic website and I really admire your linework. Thanks for posting!

I think this is my favorite piece; I hope you don't mind me posting it here.

Cheers all,

It's great to get approval from the experts. I knew re-reading 'screw-on head' a million times would eventually have its effect on me.

Yo Brendawg,
good to see you're still checking the hellboy forum every day.
fancy a pint later?

I have read all of "25" now and love it. I really like the mix of tragic and monumental occurances. I also like that while it's an homage to Mignola, it is not a blatant swipe and is completyly your own. Well done!

So when does he turn 30? (hint-hint)

Great concept, that 25. I may have to rip it off for a future birthday present. :)

Stunning. Great idea with 25 as well. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Make sure to head over to the Drawing Board (drawingboard.org) and post your stuff over there. They'd all enjoy seeing it there too!
