Hey Mike Wieringo, if you are still reading any of these threads, I just wanted to say you rock. Your work on Fantastic Four with Waid was genuinely classic. I feel it surpassed jonhn byrne's and could only be compared with jack kirby's work on FF. Seriously, I am not usually such a male groupie but that stuff was genuinely inspiring and if you ever read this, thanks. I just picked up an old issue of Meridian you did for 25 cents, which was also great. I am really excited about the spiderman titles, and i think you are a great fit for his title. However, if you can ever find a way to get back with waid on FF eventually, I BEG u to please do it. Lee and Kirby must have done like over 100 issues of FF, so theres no reason you two can't do the same. Those issues by Lee and Kirby were mindblowing for their new ideas and innovative artwork, but right now i'd honestly rather read more waid wieringo books than kirby lee books as far as FF is concerned. Its that friggin good. You are friggin awesome n after your work on spider man is done bein awesome, u should please come back to FF with Waid. please man. Before JMS reveals that Franklin is not really Reed's son, but the secret lovechild of Sue Storm and Namor and the heir to the throne of Atlantis. That would not be cool. Ok I'm done, to recap, you rock n don't forget about the FF. Peace!
