I got Avengers Assemble vol. 1 last week and have been enjoying it (and I am not a big Avengers fan) and am already considering buying the second volume. Is vol. 2 as good as vol. 1?

Better.
The Ultron storyline in the second volume is regarded by many as the high point of the run.

Well worth investing in, especially if you have Vol.1.
Theres a 3 issue Arkon/Wrecking crew story filler story that isn't up to much, buch the Ultron story is worth the price of admission:
"Ultron, I would have words with thee"
Personally I would like to see "Assemble" carry Volumes through to the end of the Kang war story/Busiek run.

No doubt. The Busiek/Perez run is one of my favorite comics of all time.
I know the chances are slim, but I'd love to see the Maximum Security mini dipped into the Assemble hardcover series. It all flows so well! And where's my Avengers Forever hardcover???

Snap up the softcover, quick. They are going fast...

Heh, done and done. I think I grabbed it when it first came out. I've got all the individual issues as well, but this is one series (as opposed to *cough* others) that deserves a hardback! Thanks for the heads up.

Question: The volume 1 hardcover had issue 11 scanned and it shows horribly. This isn't the case with the trade version (Avengers: Clear and Present Danger) of the issue, no?
