As was already posted on the Oddball Comics board, CARTOONIST PROfiles editor Jud Hurd has passed away. I wasn't familiar with his work, so I will refer you to Tom Spurgeon's blog posting about him (http://www.comicsreporter.com/index.php/cartoonist_editor_justin_jud_hurd_rip/).
