Occupation: Rebel Fighter/Strategist-Free Worlds Resistance, Lieutenant Chief Officer-Cadre 4

Abilities: Born with the same abilities as most Kolmarians: “flight via wings”, hyper senses, minor telepathy and incredible strength. Akeos possesses an extra ability only possessed by few Kolmarian said to be of ancient royalty only. This ability was thought lost to history, but now a few, including Akeos have shown to posses what is known as “The Mind Scream” which only comes through a metamorphic process all Kolmarians go through called “The Maddness”

Brief History: Akeos was a celebrated Cadre 4 soldier on his homeplanet of Komar. He had just been promoted to Lieutenant Chief Officer when the Wild Lords attacked his homeworld. He immediately joined and became a leader in the Resistance against the Wild Lords on his planet, but ultimately failed to prevent his world from falling into the slave trade. His life was changed when he was saved from a slave ship heading to “The Culling” by Jaron Riser. He made a blood pledge with Jaron then to join him in freeing the worlds starting with Colony 25, which is where his family is said to be held.

Personality: Loyal and dedicated, Akeos has strong bonds with family and friends. He is one who keeps his word, and stays true to any pledge he makes. He is unshakeable in this. Sometimes he can be very stoic, but he has a keen analytic and strategic military sense. At times, Akeos becomes very quiet and reflective. The only time his personality experiences a huge shift is during the time he experiences The Maddness, which is a metamorphic process that gives him extra abilities. He doesn’t like to use it though, as it causes him to fly into uncontrollable rages at times.

Abilities: Able to generate intense amounts of light and light energy; creating energy blasts and can control other forms of energy. Some empathy. Has begun to learn “Mind Speak”.

Brief History: Golena is the daughter or a human and a Luminarian. She spent most of her young life growing up on a starship due to her parents work as head scientists for the Intergalatic Coalition for Peace. Golena loved using her powers of light to entertain others rather than the scientific purposes her parents were more interested in her using. Tragedy struck when the WildLords attacked Gosmarya. Golena who was on planet at the time of the attack, was taken aboard a slaveship to be used as a “pleasure provider” to various generals and slave lords. Enduring several humiliations, she was eventually freed by a rebel leader named Jaron Riser who saved her from being raped and killed by a Wild Lord. She joined Jaron’s resistance, determined to use her powers now to help free those enslaved by the Wild Lords, to stop their evil reign, and to help free her homeplanet.

Personality: Normally, Golena is an extremely optimistic and hopeful person, even with all she’s endured so far. She’s trying hard not to become jaded and bitter about the situation she finds herself in, but she tends to be very passionate about certain things. She is sometimes idealistic, and has some small amount of playfulness to her. She is very loyal and loves hard. This may be due to her Luminarian side, because Luminarians are natural empaths. She also has a very high intelligence quotient, but she hides that side of herself for reasons unknown at this time.

Occupation: Special Forces Officer/Free Worlds Resistance Operative

Abilities: Rac’oona has the ability to instantly speak any language upon ten seconds of being that being’s presence. She is also a trained officer in the Ainman Special Forces, a peace keeping force much like earth’s police, but more militaristic. She has lots of hand to hand combat training, as well as fine motor skills. She’s one of the finest with the weapons that she has been trained in. She’s also a quick learner. Plus her natural claws and fangs are always an asset.

Brief History: Rac’oona grew up as a very rough and tumble girl. Almost forever in trouble, it was shocking to her family when she signed up to become an officer in the Special Forces Unit. Rac’oona excelled in the Training Academy, and developed a very special skill: the ability to speak any language upon ten seconds of being in a being’s presence. Her special linguistic skills came in handy when dealing with various interplanetary crimes, hostage negotiations, and other situations as they arised. Rac’oona was off-planet when the Wild Lords attacked her home. As she raced back to the planet after receiving a distress call, she and several officers with her were captured and sold into slavery on Colony 25. She and a fellow prisoner named Laon escaped, and ended up joining the Resistance led by Laon’s friend, Jaron Riser. She seeks vengance for the death of her sister, to locate the rest of her family, and to liberate the worlds from under the Wild Lords rule.

Personality: A bit rude, sarcastic, and rough around the edges, Rac’oona can also be humorus and personable as well. She’s extremely headstrong, opinionated, and argumentative, but she is also clever, quick witted, and a very smart negotiator when necessary. Rac’oona is very spirited and always ready for a scrap.

Occupation: Royal Hero/Resistance Leader

Abilities: Prince Maztad has a telekinetic-like force, he harnesses an energy through his sword named “The Jade Claw”. His metallic like skin gives him incredible strength, and protects him from most of the elements, and in addition, he has extremely high invulernability to pain. He also has the ability to fly. In addition, Prince Maztad has an abundance of knowledge or warfare, martial arts, and weapon skills.

Brief Hero: Prince Maztad D’Kyn was known among his people as the champion, “The Jade Warrior”. He earned a reputation as a noble and righteous prince who continually right the wrongs of others. When the WildLords came with an invitation for his family to join their forces, they vehemently opposed them. The Wild Lords decided that they would make an example out of the Jade Warrior and his royal family. Slaughtering most of the royal household, killing a third of his planet, and enslaving others, including the people’s champion, Prince Maztad. Humilated, disgraced, and depowered, Maztad still found a way to break free of his slave collar which had surpressed his powers, and has begun to fight along side Jaron Riser and the Resistance forces that oppose the Wild Lord’s rule. His presence has caused a renewed strength among the fugitives and his name is being once again declared as a champion.

Personality: Proud, noble, confident, sometimes arrogant, and passionate. Prince Maztad, due to his heritage and skills, is very much a smart and strategic warrior.

I appreciate that, and I do know that I tend to make similar faces a lot. In my more recent sketches I am practicing making different shape faces and noses, so it's not something that's gone unoticed, and I appreciate the crit. It's all good homie....and speaking of styles...I've been dying to see a remix of one of my characters done in your style Z. ;)

I made this intentionally to look like a panel, and it is a close up of one of my characters from Team Omega (Brawl) on the way to rescue his friend. The scene is supposed to be rainy,and he has to have a look of determination on his face. I'm still playing around with certain effects, and this one was a good one to practice them on.

You seem to improve every time you draw Tre. Your sense of fashion I think is your strong suit. As for the faces, you can still draw the same style of faces but make them different (a great example is your X23 drawing). Its good that your willing to try something new.

Thanks UberG! I think that you hit the nail head on here, and thanks for noticing what I tried to do with the X-23 pic. That picture in particular, I played around with shading in a different way around the nose area, giving her a different type of face, and I'm glad of the effect.

A new concept I'm working on....

The Urban Knights is the working title right now. I also was calling them The Princes of New Heritage, Urban Boyz Club, New Heritage Crew, or New Heritage Boyz. I'm still somewhat undecided on what to call them. I welcome all suggestions! lol.
Characters:

Kid Millenium/The Millenium Kid aka Freedom Johnson Jr. (middle)is the son of the futuristic hero, The Millennium Man.Free Jr. comes back to the past because of a mystery surrounding the disappearance of his father. He has almost all the powers of his father, including superstrength, ultra sonic flight, super-senses, and energy absorbtion powers.

Knucklehead aka Andre Washington(in the black/green/khaki) is extremely strong, and practically invulernable. The harder he is hit; the stronger he gets. I was thinking of adding absorbtion of solids to his power, but I have a character like that already. And yes, his personality is exactly what his codename suggests. When I put up his bio pic you'll know what I'm talking about.

Hangtime aka Jaymar Thomas(in the blue/gray), a basketball star at New Heritage High gets his life changed forever when he gains the powers of chronal(time) manipulation. He can create and energy field with a limit of up to 6 ft that can stall time, move it forward or in reverse.

ChoirBoy aka Christian McKinzie(in the red), a nice young man and rising musician who gets pulled into the hero game because of his new talent for manipulating sonics. His voice can cause different effects depending on the type of notes that he sings. For example, high pitch notes can cause devestating sonics that can rupture inner ear cavities depending on variation. Lower notes can cause heavy destruction, and softer notes can cause hypnotic effects.

Insyte aka Trevon Daniels (not pictured)-is a 15 year old genius who ends up becoming one with the entire universe-time-spectrum-contininum for 25 seconds which transforms his already brilliant mind into that of a super- telepath. He has a special discernment that lets him solve almost any problem imaginable. He is a technological genius. He can also see the "true" person beyond what people portray. His creative ability and his special "insight" are not on 24-7, but usually when a problem presents itself, he is able to tap into it. A lot of times when ideas or inspiration comes, he has to write it down so that he won't forget it later. His telepathy though is constant. He usually does not go out in the field, but rather stay and guide the team from his special computer center, but he has been known to mix it up with the best of them from time to time. You'll see his picture up hopefully later on today, and I'll explain more about him too.

Powers/Skills: Telepathy, Special insight into solving any problem or situation, some precognative abilities, skilled in tecnological , engineering, and artistic design, possesses several degrees in martial arts, medical fields, and other sciences. He also has several weapons that he has created whenever he has to go out personally in the field with the Knights.

Personality: Sometimes withdrawn because of the feedback he gets when he's around others. When he has his dampners on, he is a little more social. He's very driven of course, but doesn't like to brag about his abilities. He tends to have a small, close circle of friends, which is ironic that mega popular Millennium Kid is becoming his best friend. He has a heart to do what's right and is willing to help in any way that he can. He loves inventing things, and spends waaay too much time in his Creation Room where he creates such things as the Bio-Tats(Technological tattoos that are keyed to your biology and allow you to do things such as turn invisible, negate gravity, etc) and other inventions.

Brief Bio/History:
Insyte recieved his gift of telepathy and universal insight/knowledge when The Millennium Kid arrived from the future into present day Heritage City, there was a surge of chronal energy that waved throughout the city causing various effects on certain citizens. Trevon was one of those people. He was suspended in time for almost 25 seconds becoming one with the space-time continum. All the secrets of the universe were poured into him at once, and then suddenly they were gone. A few months later, Trevon discovered he had telepathy, in addition to his already brilliant IQ, he had begun to think of new ideas, inventions, creations, and everything. He feverishly wrote everything down that he could, because these thoughts would come and go. He realized that he had a superhuman gift and sought out the Millennium Kid to help form the team of heroes nicknamed the Urban Knights who were all connected by the time surge to stop the evil that was coming and to help Millennium Kid solve the mystery about the Kid's father, Millennium Man.

Bio/History:
On the South side of Heritage City, in the area known as Heritage Heights, it's not hard to find trouble. And at one point in time, Andre Washington was knee deep in it.
Andre was your typical rebellious teen. Doing whatever he wanted to do. Staying out all hours of the night. Trying to earn a reputation for being "hard". This would earn him the nickname of "Knucklehead". Andre's mother had done the best she could, raising a hardheaded boy who acted out his frustration and hurt over not having a real man or father to guide him in life. All Andre really wanted was someone who would care enough, but no one ever saw that in Andre's mindset. Soon enough, looking for that family and acceptance, he ended up joining the "Raw Street Crew" which was a group of angry young kids/young adults who did everything from bangin' to hustlin. One night while trying to jack a car, Andre's life was forever changed when a surge of energy shot through the city transforming his DNA....suddenly he was stronger than he had ever been before and he ripped the car doors of the hinges. It became apparent to Andre that the harder he got hit, the stronger he became.Some of Andre's crew had been transformed as well. They soon became a feared crew of superpowered thugs who began to try and run their corner of the city. This didn't go well with the heroes of the city, the Urban Warriors or the the true gangleaders of the city, the Lion's Pride. Eventually, the Urban Warriors prevented the Lion's Pride from destroying these young superpowered kids. Andre's life in particular was saved by Bandit X. In a long talk with BanditX, Andre began to see the error of his ways....but still walked that fine line between what was right, and what he knew he shouldn't do...including busting him and his friends out of the superpowered juvenile hall. When his mother fell deathly ill, Andre didn't really know where to turn. He decided to knock over a bank and get some real money. He was prevented by the Millennium Kid, who he found out was responsible for him getting the powers in the first place. After the fight (3 hrs), he finally realized that it was hopeless, and for the first time in his life, surrendered. The Millennium Kid was shocked by this, and wanted to know what was up. Andre explained the situation with his mother, and MK introduced him to Insyte, a superpowered genius who came up with the answer to save his mother's life. Insyte also saw something else within Knucklehead, the capacity to be a real hero. Inviting him on their newly forming team, the Urban Knights, Andre began to see for himself. He is slowly learning how to now use his abilities for the good of his city, rather than the detriment of it. Still stubborn, but learning how to work on a team and be a team player.

Personality: Andre is one of those kids who has a hardhead, but waaaaaay down deep, you know he is a good person. He cares for people, although he never admits it, but he also is one who rushes in without thinking, which sometimes can cause his team some very interesting situations. He has a very short temper, and attention span. He flies off the handle easily, and is extremely opinionated. He builds up walls, because of the hurt that he feels on the inside, but as he learns more about what he means to be a hero, the change is coming.

Last character design for Sovereign7's group of characters: Israel. Israel was described as a Mexican teenager who wears green and controls fire. I thought about it, and decided to make his fire with a green tint, adding a more "mystical" feel to his fires. For his outfit, I decided on a basic tee with a graphic design with some sweatpants all with different shades of green. I also gave him a emerald and coral necklace.There is a hoodie that goes with this outfit, but I will add that when I draw the group pic.

Two new supporting characters in the Urban Warriors Universe: Imani and Jaali enjoy a summer night at the Inner City in Baltimore. Imani Walker is a school literacy coach and community activist in Heritage City. She is also the head of the Heritage City Community Center which the Urban Warriors are a big part of. She is also loves to sing, and is active in many community groups. Jaali King is the older brother of Solomon King( aka Midas of the Urban Warriors). Jaali is an aspiring musician and artist. His music is described as a funky blend of rock, jazz, neo-soul, and hip-hop. Jaali is also an accomplished painter, and has several of his works on display at the Cornerstone Museum of the Arts. Jaali and Imani met at the Heritage City Arts Festival. Jaali was immediately attracted to this woman whom he describes as his, "ebony angel" and pursued her for 3 weeks before she finally consented (she secretly liked the chase). They have been inseperable ever since, and have been dating for about 5 months now.

SO....I've been away for awhile. What have I been up to? Well, I was involved in an original character battle contest called the AFL over at Deviantart.com I had entered my character Knucklehead from my Urban Knights series. So, even though I didn't make it to the semi-finals, I did win 4 out of my 8 battles, and made some good memories. Thought I share some of the things here with my friends at CBR! This first comic is my battle against, "Erin" who is this alien warrior chick. We were given different theme backgrounds to fight in by a random generator, and so the first battle I got was Cartoon Land!! So I decided to make Knucklehead into "Lil Knucks"! I'll upload the pictures individually so you can read them. Also on this thread, about 2 pages back is some info on Knucklehead...

The Millennium Girl.....

There is an air of mystery around her, even though she doesn't wear the mask. Who is this girl that claims the right to the heritage of the Millennium Man and The Millennium Kid(MK)? She has seemingly has all the same powers or is it a form of telekinesis? Is she a superpowered fan-girl of the Millennium Kid or is she a bonfide member of the Millennium Family....and if so, how? Mercedez Steele-Mercado was a happy little girl growing up with her loving papi Mario and mama Shari, and her big brother Marlon...until one day when there was a tragic accident when she was just 7 years old. As they were driving from the Bronx to the countryside for a family outing, there was a shooting on the highway which caused a massive pile up of cars. Mercedez's family was caught in the crossfire and the pile up of cars. Fire, crashes, everything....the total ended up with 14 dead, and 5 injured. Except Mercedez. She was found in her family's demolished vehicle, unharmed and untouched. Marlon's body couldn't even be found. Police and doctors were puzzled. Not a scratch. Mercedez tried to explain to them that there was an angel protecting her, that the angel had shielded her....I won't say no one believed her, but many just played it up to a young girl's imagination and way of coping with a tragic situation......Mercedez from that point on went to live with her Uncle Antonio Steele-Mercado, and his son, her cousin Tito at their ranch in San Antonio, TX. She soon discovered as she got older from the day of the accident, there was something different about her...she rarely got harmed, and when she did, she would heal rapidly....she was extremely strong, such as when she tore of the refrigerator door by accident, or how she could tell when there was danger nearby....which she discovered when she was 13, and stopped some gangbangers from taking out Tito. After that, she knew she had a gift...she remembered the angel....she had been touched by something divine. She took the name Divine and began fighting crime in San Antonio. In part to honor her parents and her brother's memories. because after reading some records of the event, she wanted to stop crimes altogether. She garned the attention Lady Indigo, who became a mentor to her....taught her how to fight and also offered her a membership to a secret superheroine sisterhood called D.I.V.A.S. .........and the story begins...

Powers:
Divine has extraordinary strength and rapid healing abilities. Her strength is not Hulk level or anything...but somewhere around Spidey-level...speaking of that, she also has a "danger-sense radar" much like his where she can sense trouble and avoid anything that's coming to harm her.

Other Skill Sets:
Divine is skilled in several martial arts, thanks to Indigo's training. She also knows how to handle various weapons from Tito. She's a brilliant strategist as well.

Personality:
Divine is a extremely focused young lady who has a high GPA. She's very serious about taking down crime, and is thinking about studying criminal law in college. She's usually very quiet and reflective, but she's a fierce fighter too. She's definitely a proud Latina, and loves her remaining family. Don't threaten them, because she gets really mad then.
Yet, It's hard for her to be social around people due to her not wanting to ever lose anyone again, but she tries. She also has a deep spiritual side, and has strong faith in God.

But Gabby's got a secret....she also can manipulate gravity as ATL's premiere superteen hero, "Baby Girl"!
Gabby was born with the powers of manipulating gravity, but at an early age, her parents, decided to put her on pills that surpressed those powers because they didn't want her to be overwhelmed with them, and wanted her to basically live a normal life. Unfortunately, after finding out about her half-sister Charolette(aka ELUSIVE), Gabby began to ask questions. It was only until Chauncey, her butler, told her about the family background that rocked Gabby's premadonna world. It turns out one of her father's companies specialized in biogenetics and that her dad was one of the first volunteers on a new project to birth superhumans. Eventually, superpowers transferred to some of the volunteer's children as well....including Gabby. Chauncey asked her to please continue to take the pills to continue a normal life...Gabby lied and said "ok", but she stopped taking them from that day on....and the powers that had manifested when she was just an infant exploded onto the scene. Charlotte loved living the good life in Atlanta with her father who was a very wealthy man due to his groundbreaking research in superhuman genetics. What she didn't realize at the time was that due to his experiments on himself, she too would inherit superpowers of her own.
Charlotte was the type of child who was always into something, she loved to investigate and discover things, very sneaky,and she had quite the mouth on her, forever speaking her mind. One thing bothered her though, were the constant arguments between her parents.
One day, when she was about 11 yrs old, it got so bad that Charlotte decided to run away...literally. She ran so fast that she ended up in North Carolina...where her grandma and grandpa lived in less than six seconds! Extremely surprised, she ran back before entering their house...shocked at what she could do. When she got back to the house, she walked right past her parents, and was surprised that they didn't say anything to her. She walked past the grand mirror in the foyer, and didn't see her reflection! She looked at her hands.. and didn't see them! ....she was entirely invisible!This was a lot for her to take in, but she was still curious as to what her parents were still arguing about. She listened intently as her mother claim that "she wouldn't be a party to this anymore, and that he could keep his whore too...." Then she heard the words, "divorce".... and she ran to her room at top speed, slamming her door shut. To her surprise, she was visible again. She now balances her time between classes at UNC (doubling in Journalism and Psychology), being a waitress at her grandaddy's shop "Papa Dee's Real BBQ", and being a bonafide superhero.

Personality: Overall, she's a very personable person. She can be sassy at times, but she definitely has a serious side to her. She's smart and as she was when she was a child, she is extremely curious.She knows how to take time out to enjoy life as well.

Powers:
Elusive has super speed, and when she hits a certain speed (say mach 10) she can turn invisible. She has to concentrate to turn back. She also manipulate her molecules to be in an intangible state at times. But it requires a lot of concentration to stay that way.

Caprice Giuliani is known for her lavish lifestyle. She's a top fashion model, and a A-list actress, sought out the world over. She's been on the cover of almost every magazine, been the subject of thousands of gossip columns, and is one of the top internet searches of all time. But most of it is not due to her superstar status, but the fact that she was one of the Justice Star's Crusaders(JSC), one of America's premiere superteams of superheroes.

Capri started out life as a normal little girl. Well, as normal as the daughter of a famous actress, Francesca De Rossi and racecar driver, Michael Giuliani can get. When she was young, she was on a syndicated comedy show, "Whatta Happy Family" where she played the adorable Gina Rossi. It was this role that would open up the way for other shows and movies. But everything wasn't just glitter and glam. When Capri was 15, her world changed when she found out that she wasn't fully a human. This came to a head when a mass alien war hit town.... part of which were actually searching for her mother of all people. Turns out her mother was secretly the superehero named Blu Moon, but also a runaway alien princess who had come to Earth to hide from her responsibilities, (part of which meant she had to marry someone from a warlike race of individuals to make peace for her country.) She does have some issues regarding her half-human DNA so there are some self-esteem things going on, but for the most part, she's self-reliant, assured, and confident in herself. Although she has a public persona, she likes to have her moments of privacy, and loves to hang at her beach house. She and her mother sometimes have issues, but she's definitely can do no wrong in her father's eyes. Still, she gives all for her family, no questions asked. She's very much a "B-Girl" in a sense with her love for old school Hip-Hop, Jazz, and R&B. In fact, the rumor mill suggests she dating the famous R&B superstar Dante Real......
