Here's my shopping list this week:

Green Lantern Corps: Recharge #1 - I'm looking forward to checking this out. Dave Gibbons writing and Patrick Gleason's pencils. This could be very good.

Batman: Jekyll & Hyde #6 - I've been self trading this. But with Jenkins and Lee, this should be excellent. I wonder if its in continuity? I know that it stars Two Face, and I havent heard of him since the Lee & Loeb Hush arc on Batman.

Seven Soldiers: Mr Miracle #1 - Curious about this. Morrison and Ferry? I'll check out an issue.

Captain America #10 - Brubaker and the really underappreciated Lee Weeks. Hope the House of M crossover doesnt get in the way of a good story.

Runaways #8 - One of the best books in comics today. Love it.

Ultimates #8 - I'm gonna really, really miss this book. I wont be sticking around for the new creative team. Well, maybe I'll try one issue. :)

DD: Father #3

Ultimate FF #23 - I should have waited for the trade for this, but its just too good. Greg Land is doing some beautiful stuff, and Millar is the man right now.

Conan #20

BATGIRL #68 $2.50
Love this! Ale Garza's last issue, I beleive. I'll REALLY miss his work here with Jesse Delperdang, but it'll be nice to see what Pop Mhan brings to the book (and thankfully Jesse's staying on as inker!)
BIRDS OF PREY #86 $2.50
GAIL! Moving day! Three guest artists this issue, including BRUCE TIMM!!! Yaay!
JSA CLASSIFIED #3 $2.50
Really really loving this! (wishing there was a Power Girl ongoing by Johns and Conner! ...or at least... more stuff from Conner!)
SEVEN SOLDIERS MISTER MIRACLE #1 (OF 4) $2.99
For whatever rediculous reason, DC has pulled Pascal Ferry off this book... So my "waiting for the trade" problem has been solved! I'll just buy this issue and revel in the Ferry art. And I've seen this first issue and I think's even better than his ADAM STRANGE work! Best of luck to Pascal in his next project!
SUPERGIRL #2 $2.99
YAy! More Loeb! Really liked the first issue (and the battle with Power Girl). This ish, Superboy! And possibly more tusseling!
TEEN TITANS OUTSIDERS SECRET FILES 2005 $4.99
Geoff Johns, Greg Rucka, Phil Jimenez, Kevin Nowlan, Ian Churchill, Tony Daniel and more! Like a Joker's Daughter story! And some "Insiders" follow-up!
CAPTAIN AMERICA #10 $2.99
House of M tie-in by Brubaker and Lee Weeks! Really interested to see Brubaker's version of the life of Steve Rogers in a mutant-run world!
DAREDEVIL FATHER #3 (OF 5) $2.99
LOVE THIS! Quesada made me a Daredevil fan and I'm so happy to see him return to the character. Really fascinating story brewing here, great art, great mood. Makes me wish he had the time to do more stuff like this (except that he's doing such a great job with the company).
EXILES #70 $2.99
More of the Exiles in the House of M!
NEW AVENGERS #10 $2.50
BENDIS! Yaaaay! And McNiven! LOVE THIS!!! (and so happy to have issues coming out)
RUNAWAYS #8 $2.99
IF YOU HAVEN'T READ RUNAWAYS---WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU???? GORGEOUS Bachelo cover, wonderful art by Takeshi Miyazawa and Christina Strain. Conclusion to "Starcrossed" (which does NOT feature Cloak & Dagger... I got my storylines crossed... They're in the NEXT arc, but Takeshi drew them the last time they showed up)
ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR #23 $2.50
The conclusion of the crazy "Crossover" arc by Millar and Land!
ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR ANNUAL #1 $3.99
Mark Millar and Jae Lee introduce the Ultimate Inhumans!!
ULTIMATES 2 #8 $2.99
The traitor revealed??
WOLVERINE #32 $2.50
WOLVERINE BLACK & WHITE VARIANT #32 (PP #683) $2.50
Special stand-alone story by Mark Millar and Kaare Andrews! Seeing Andrews moody art on this in black & white would be really cool, but the coloring by Jose Villarubio is great on this, too. Interesting that they would offer the two versions, though.

WAITING FOR THE TRADE

BATMAN JEKYLL AND HYDE #6 (OF 6) $2.99
GREEN LANTERN CORPS RECHARGE #1 (OF 6) $3.50

I'm not schooled much in the ways of the Lantern, so I dunno how much I might get from this, but Patrick Gleason's artwork looks fantastic on this (as it always does).

After a couple of small weeks, it looks my wallet is going to be taking a hit this week.

DC COMICS
BIRDS OF PREY #86 $2.50
A book making its way back to the top of my must read list.
GREEN LANTERN CORPS RECHARGE #1 (OF 6) $3.50
Like Patrick Gleason's art, not so sure about Dave Gibbons writing after the mess that is Rann/Thanagar war.
SUPERGIRL #2 $2.99
Is this shipping with two covers?
TEEN TITANS OUTSIDERS SECRET FILES 2005 $4.99
Not sure why I preordered this book as I just dropped both Teen Titans and Outsiders.
WRAITHBORN #1 (OF 6) $2.99
The previews on newsarama last month have convinced me to give this the ol' flip test.

MARVEL
CAPTAIN AMERICA #10 $2.99
As the Young Avengers shipping schedule starts to slip, this is becoming my favorite Marvel book. How is this House of M crossover going to affect the ongoing Winter Soldier storyline?
EXILES #70 $2.99
Yay - another issue from Bedard and Pelletier!
NEW AVENGERS #10 $2.50
I enjoy this book a lot more now that it is shipping regularly.

ROBERT JORDANS NEW SPRING #2 $3.95
Still need to read #1 - looking forward to reading all of these books in one sitting.

DC COMICS
Top Ten Beyond The Farthest Precinct #2 (Of 5), $2.99

I really should be waiting on the trade with this one, but since I already picked up issue #1, I might as well go with it.

GEMSTONE PUBLISHING
Donald Duck And Friends #332, $2.95
Mickey Mouse And Friends #281, $2.95

Already dropped these two from my pull list at the comics shop, but since I'm pretty much the only one buying them, I offered to buy the next couple of issues that had already been pre-ordered through PREVIEWS, so they're not stuck with 'em.

MARVEL COMICS
Captain America #10, $2.99
Hulk Visionaries Peter David Vol 2 TPB, $19.99
Ultimate Spider-Man Vol 6 HC, $29.99
Ultimates 2 #8, $2.99
Wolverine #32, $2.50

WOLVERINE is the Kaare Andrews concentration camp type story. I might try to go for the black and white version. We'll see.

I pre-ordered the HULK and SPIDER-MAN collections, so I don't need to buy those today.

SAF COMICS
Mysteries Of The Red Moon Vol 2 Attack Of The Circus GN, $12.95

Risso on art. Makes it worth a look. Never saw Volume 1, though.

SPEAKEASY COMICS
Rocketo #2, $2.99

It dawned on me recently that I picked up the #0 issue at San Diego, not the #1. Might have to wait on a trade. I'm sure we'll see one relatively soon after the 4th or 6th issues.

It's another smallish week, but that's OK with me. I have last week's books waiting for me, too. It all evens out.

It's not too late to say no to Top 10! Remember the coolness of the HC! :D

What the heck is that book from SAF? Don't think I've heard of that one before! I did order Risso's BORDERLINE, but I missed the boat on this.

Was the Rocketo #0 a "sideways" book too? This will make for a cool 300-like HC when it's collected!

Augie De Blieck Jr.

ROCKETO #0 was, indeed, sideways.

I should hold strong with TOP TEN, but I'm weak. I'll buy it a second time when the HC comes out.

That SAF book is right at the top of this page: http://www.safcomics.com/publishing.shtml

This morning I picked up:
ROBIN #142
SUPERGIRL #2 CHURCHILL COVER
SUPERGIRL #2 TURNER COVER
HUNTER KILLER #4
DAREDEVIL FATHER #3
NEW AVENGERS #10
ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR #23
ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR ANNUAL #1
ULTIMATES 2 #8

These did not fit in due to budget cuts this week:
BATGIRL #68 Only 4 or so pages of Ale Garza art!?
IDENTITY CRISIS HC TURNER COVER
SEVEN SOLDIERS MISTER MIRACLE #1
TEEN TITANS OUTSIDERS SECRET FILES 2005
RUNAWAYS #8

BATGIRL #68 Only 4 or so pages of Ale Garza art!?

Well, really he draws 12 of the 22 pages. It's just that 7 of them were as breakdowns (which is just sometimes looser pencils) finished by Jesse Delperdang (who's work on this title has made me a fast fan of his). A lot of those pages, you can't even tell! And the rest of the book is drawn by new regular artist Pop Mhan (and inked by Jesse!)

SEVEN SOLDIERS MISTER MIRACLE #1

This issue is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! It's too bad Pascual couldn't finish this series, but I'm totally psyched for his ULTIMATE X-MEN/FANTASTIC FOUR crossover, and his ULTIMATE IRON MAN work. (I'm crossing my fingers that they'll get Dave McCaig to color those projects, as well)

TEEN TITANS OUTSIDERS SECRET FILES 2005

DC's website TOTALLY lied to me about this! No Geoff Johns, no Greg Rucka, and no Phil Jimenez! BUT, it has TEEN TITANS (animated series) writer Adam Beechen, J. Torres, Paco Medina, and the Nunzio DeFilippis/Christina Weir/Todd Nauck Wonder Girl story (featuring Cissie King-Jones, aka Arrowette) that Todd told me about in San Diego that I TOTALLY forgot about! Plus some really stellar profile images from Ian Churchill, Kevin Nowlan, Carlos D'Anda, Pascual Ferry, Daniel Acuna, Cliff Chiang, Gene Ha and George Perez! So I was very happy anyway. Just surprised how wrong the website listing (and probably the Previews solicitation) was.

RUNAWAYS #8

[Steve -- shocked an appalled!]

My whole week is out of whack thanks to Hurricane Rita.

BPRD: The Dead TP
I didn't pre-order it, but I am thinking of getting it. I love the BPRD characters, but all of the BPRD series and one-shots have disappointed me.

Batgirl #68
Bought the last few issues last weekend. Liked it. If this Shiva storyline goes well, this might be back on my reading list.
Birds of Prey #86
RE: Last Issue-- OMG!!! Gail Simone should have Eisners. Many of them.
Hellblazer #212
Once again, I find myself in that nebulous emotional state of presently loving a book, but getting melancholy when I think of it, because the writer is leaving soon.
Sleeper vol. 4: The Long Way Home TP
YES!!! This is my Most Anticipated Pick of the Week!
Wonder Woman vol. 3: Beauty and the Beasts TP
Perez. 'Nuff said, right?
Wraithborn #1
One of those rare moments where we crack and buy for the art. If we like the story, well that'll just be a bonus.

Captain America #10
Budgetary reasons forced us to drop some monthly issues from our monthly DCB order. This was NOT one of them. :p
Hulk Visionaries: Peter David vol. 2 TP
I know they'll stop eventually, but I plan to stick with it for as long as they do.
Ultimate Spider-Man vol. 6 HC
Woot!

Strangers in Paradise #76
Need to swing by my mom's house in the next few days it looks like.

Robert Jordan's New Spring #2
I'm really waiting for trade on this, but I pre-ordered this issue by mistake. At the very least it will give me an idea of how it's being adapted.

Gotham City PD Forensics T/S LG
Because I am a geek. ;)

Wait for Trade
--------------
Batman: Jekyll & Hyde
Fingers firmly crossed as I really want to read this.
Lucifer
Brillance. Getting quite a few of my peers inot this series.
Seven Soldiers: Mister Miracle
Like all Seven Soldiers, I'm content to wait for trade, but if this is the only issue to have Ferry art, I may just snag this one.
Top 10: Beyond the Farthest Precinct
Mmmaybe. Since Moore didn't write it, I'm hesitant, but a positive review may tip the scale come HC solicitation time.
Girls
As predicted, the HC/TP was already solicited.
Daredevil: Father
Maybe. Not crazy about Quesada's new bulky look for DD.
New Avengers
I liked the first HC.
Runaways
Need to read the HC, but P is hogging it.
Supreme Power: Hyperion
I'd be really surprised if they didn't collect this before the second series begins.

BPRD: The Dead TP
I didn't pre-order it, but I am thinking of getting it. I love the BPRD characters, but all of the BPRD series and one-shots have disappointed me.
But they have great Guy Davis art, which forgives multiple sins.

Birds of Prey #86
RE: Last Issue-- OMG!!! Gail Simone should have Eisners. Many of them.
She appears to have broken the first rule of Chuck Dixon's premise for the series in the last issue. Obviously, it's too soon to jump ugly, but it does worry me. A little. I'm not reading the series, though I do like the characters.

Top 10: Beyond the Farthest Precinct
Mmmaybe. Since Moore didn't write it, I'm hesitant, but a positive review may tip the scale come HC solicitation time.
I've read a couple good comments for the book on the blogosphere, but can't remember where. Ergo, no links. I'm useless.
