Thanks mate.
My pleasure.
It might be worth noting too that, in the Smallville TV show, there are different types/colors of kryptonite that have effects that aren't necessarilly established in the comic book.

But how many types have appeared post-crisis?
All I can think of are regular Green and then Batman's lab created Red.

There was lots of different colored Kryptonite in that railcar that Red Hood stole from Black Mask (who was getting it for Luthor).
black= seen on smallvile dont know what it does!
It lets his mommy take him home. ;)

At the end of Supergirl 2 Luthor describes five types of Kryptonite. Black is one of them, but he say he doesn't know what effect it will have.

On Smallville, black splits a person into good and evil doppelgangers.
Some have speculated that this accounts for the radically different portrayals of Lex over the last couple of years.
Thing is, Lex snapped before the meteor went rainbow, courtesy of Captain Atom.
Now... One thing to consider is whether Kara is already under the influence of one or more shades of Kryptonite.
Another thing to consider is that if Superman had outright destroyed the meteor in SUPERMAN/BATMAN #6, we'd end up with a post-Apocalyptic future where Darkseid has laid waste to earth.
So either multi-colored Kryptonite or Kara or both are the key to why that doesn't happen and key to events in the current SUPERMAN/BATMAN arc which is featuring Luthor and Darkseid and supposedly tying together all the plots from the previous three arcs.

Possible Spoilers in Supergirl #2 involving Special K
Supergirl #2, written by Jeph Loeb ("Red," "Insurgence"), features some mentions of some elements that will surely make you think of the show. Be warned of spoilers below.
In the comic's last page, Lex Luthor is collecting various colors and kinds of Kryptonite and wearing them in his gauntlet, which is almost reminiscent of Marvel's Infinity Gauntlet with the Infinity Gems back in 1990. Lex is communicating with the Calculator and reporting to him what the various kinds of Kryptonite do.
Green Kryptonite is said to be "deadly to Kryptonians".... and Lex comments that "now, thanks to the recent meteor shower, [it] is actually in greater abundance."
Red Kryptonite "apparently causes erratic and unpredictable behavior." Apparently Lex saw the episode "Red" and liked what he had seen.
Blue Kryptonite "is effective when dealing with Bizarro."
And that leaves things with... Black Kryptonite. The Calculator asks what happens when a Kryptonian is exposed to it, and Lex just grins. To Be Continued...
While we don't normally condone the spoiling of big comic book surprises, we're just relaying this information so you know to pick this issue up immediately. Very good things are coming in Supergirl, and it almost sounds like some more ideas and concepts from Smallville are creeping their way into the comics.
