Okay, here's the what if.

What if Reed really DID sabotage Doom's machine when Doom was his roommate? And, a further what if, what if this somehow became known throughout the Marvel universe at the current time? What do you think the repercussions against Reed would be? Would Doom lighten up a little with his major rival discredited? How would Reed react?

Some of the younger heroes (ie- Runaways, Young Avengers, the New X-Men) may join Doom's side. It could make for an interesting story, but I hope Marvel never does it.
