PAGE ONE: Above the first panel, we have some space for the title and credits.
1 TITLE: Krypto the Superdog in: "Down the Rabbit Hole"
2 CREDITS
Panel One: Inside the bedroom of CONNER KENT, aka SUPERBOY. CONNER, off to the side, is lying on his bed, headphones on, doing his physics homework. At the foot of the bed is a basket with "KRYPTO" painted on it. Our focus, however, is on KRYPTO THE SUPERDOG, who is standing at attention in front of the bedroom window, tail straight out, nose pressed up against the glass.
Panel Two: Close side view of KRYPTO; we can see his bared teeth and a little bit of drool.
3 KRYPTO: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr… -- Rowf! Rowf!
4 CONNER (OP): Krypto! Shut up!
Panel Three: A long shot of the Kent Farm, the back of the farmhouse in the upper left. A circular inset shows KRYPTO. A pair of dashed lines, indicating KRYPTO's telescopic vision, lead from this inset to another, lower right, in which we see a BUNNY RABBIT, munching grass.
5 KRYPTO: (From inside house): Row-wow-wowf!
6 MA KENT (FIH): Conner! Let that dog out before he breaks something!
7 CONNER (FIH): Yes, Martha…
Panel Four: Same side view of KRYPTO. We can see CONNER standing next to him, holding onto his collar with one hand and pushing up the window with the other. KRYPTO is straining at his collar.
8 CONNER (OP): Hold on, dummy. If you break another window, it'll come out of my allowance…
9 KRYPTO: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…
Panel Five: Same angle. The window is completely open. Speed lines show where
KRYPTO has rapidly exited the room. CONNER's back is to the window, walking away.
10 SFX: zing
11 CONNER: Stupid dog.
PAGE TWO:
Panel One: KRYPTO, flying through the Kansas sky, his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth, a determined expression on his face.

Panel Eight: The RABBIT's back. A seam is visible, and one part of it is raised over the other.
1 SFX: klik
PAGE THREE:
Panel One: KRYPTO takes a blast in the face from a giant honkin' laser cannon that has popped out of the RABBIT's back. The cannon is several times larger than the RABBIT itself.
1 SFX (cannon): CHA-FOOM
Panel Two: KRYPTO lying ass-over-ears at the end of a rather large furrow of upturned earth. He's angry.
NO TEXT
Panel Three: The RABBIT flying away, little jets having popped out of its sides. The cannon is still out, and pointing backwards, firing short blasts.
SFX: CHOOM CHOOM
Panel Four: KRYPTO, darting through the laser blasts, firing off a shot of heat vision.
NO TEXT
Panel Five: The RABBIT darting through a small hatch that has opened in the ground. The heat vision hits the ground just behind it.
NO TEXT
Panel Six: Same angle. KRYPTO bashing his way through the closed hatch door.

PAGE FOUR: Single-page panel, a stratum-side view of the earth beneath the Kent
Farm. At the very top, we have the topsoil, and a hole where the hatch would be top left. A tunnel zigzags down the page, until it reaches the roof of some sort of subterranean cavern at bottom right. Down the zigs and the zags, we see KRYPTO chasing the RABBIT, the two of them exchanging blasts. At one point, a laser blast catches KRYPTO, and we get a "YIPE!" in a word balloon. At another, KRYPTO burns off its back legs with his heat vision. There are some Simpsons-esque items buried in the soil around the tunnel: a pirate treasure chest, a crate that says "Unsold copies of Superboy and the Ravers," a spaceship with a skeletonized Ch'p visible through the front screen, another crate that says "Pre-Crisis continuity," a tunneler who looks suspiciously like Ryoga Hibiki, etc. At the very bottom, have the RABBIT dropping through the hole into the cavern below.
PAGE FIVE:
Panel One: Big shot of the cavern, which is the subterranean lair of THE MOLE PEOPLE (from the movie of the same name). There are a large number of MOLE TROOPERS, dressed in Mole People military garb, carrying laser rifles, watching KRYPTO break through the ceiling chasing the RABBIT. Over to one side is a monitor bank, manned by several MOLES. There is also a raised dais holding the MOLE PEOPLE COMMANDER and his ADVISOR, and a very big Kirby-style machine.
1 KRYPTO: Rowf! Row-ow-owf!
2 SFX (rabbit's cannon): Choom Choom!
Panel Two: The COMMANDER, his ADVISOR at his shoulder.
3 COMMANDER: The surveillance device returns! What surface deviltry is this?
4 ADVISOR: A spy, Great Commander, sent to destroy us! You must strike at the surface world now!
5 ADVISOR: Guards! Kill the spy! For the Glory of the Mole Empire!
Panel Three: The RABBIT flying past the monitor bank, surprising a MOLE
TECH.
6 MOLE TECH: What the -- ?
Panel Four: A blast of heat vision strikes the TECH.
7 MOLE TECH: Aaaagh!
Panel Five: KRYPTO flying by on the same path the RABBIT took in panel three. The TECH is face-down over the console.

PAGE SIX:
Panel One: KRYPTO lands next to the RABBIT, snarling.
1 MOLE TROOPER (OP): Stop right there, spy!
Panel Three: Pulled back from the last panel, showing KRYPTO and the RABBIT
surrounded by MOLE TROOPERS.
2 MOLE TROOPER: Fire!
Panel Four: Same angle. A large cloud of dust raised as the TROOPERS unload
their rifles onto KRYPTO.
3 SFX: various "CHOOMS"
Panel Five: Same angle. The dust has lifted. The RABBIT is gone, but KRYPTO
remains, his fur lightly singed.
NO TEXT
Panel SIX: Close-up of KRYPTO, snarling, dripping a little bit of blood.
4 KRYPTO: Rrrrrrrrrrr…
Panel SEVEN: Close-up of a MOLE TROOPER, realizing that he's doomed.
5 TROOPER: Oh, chrenk nuggets.
PAGE SEVEN:
Panel One: The COMMANDER and ADVISOR standing in front of the machine. Flashes of red off to the side, and the shadows of KRYPTO jumping at some MOLE TROOPERS.
1 COMMANDER: I was against building this machine, Gonarik, but now I see you were right. The surface men cannot be reasoned with.
2 TROOPER (OP): My face, my face, it's burning my face!
3 OTHER TROOPER (OP): Sweet Ishtar, I can see my intestines!
Panel Two: Close-up of the COMMANDER's hand on the control panel. There is
a button, big and red, with a label that reads "Press Here To Annihilate Surface
World."
5 ADVISOR (OP): Yes, Commander! Too long have we suffered beneath the soil. The Moles must inherit the Earth!
6 TROOPER (OP): "Join the Mole Army, learn valuable job skills!" What the klopf was I thinking?
7 OTHER TROOPER: Get out of the way, I'm too beautiful to die!
Panel Three: The MOLE COMMANDER, against a black background,
beseeching the ether in a very "Captain Kirk" pose.
8 COMMANDER: Still, all those lives… why can there not be a better way? What sin could a Mole commit in a single lifetime, that he would have to pass judgment on an entire race? Can we not live in peace? Is death the only way? How many sons of Moletropolis must give their lives before we say, "Enough?"
9 TROOPER (OP): Tell my wife and seventeen children I love the--*
10 OTHER TROOPER (OP): Izzbakter! No!
Panel Four: The ADVISOR reaching for the button, while the COMMANDER
looks down at his feet, puzzled.
11 ADVISOR: All we have before us is our duty, Commander. Let history decide the rest.
12 COMMANDER: You are right, old friend—what's this?
Panel Five: The COMMANDER's POV, looking down at the HALF-RABBIT
lying at his feet, an almost plaintive look on its face.
NO TEXT
Panel Six: The COMMANDER and ADVISOR looking at one another.
13 ADVISOR: I've always loved you.
Panel Seven: Close-up of KRYPTO's jaws.

PAGE EIGHT:
Panel One: Back in CONNER's bedroom. CONNER's still working at that physics homework.
1 CONNER: "Proving the gravitational constant of the universe…" I can fly, why do I need to know how gravity works?
2 SFX (window) tap tap
3 CONNER: Huh?
Panel Two: CONNER has opened the window, and KRYPTO is coming through,
the head of the RABBIT clutched in his jaws.
4 CONNER: Is that a rabbit head? Gross! Don't bring that in…
Panel Three: Same angle, CONNER looking out the window in horror and shock.
5 CONNER: AHHHHHH!
Panel Four: Outside shot, showing that big furrow from Page 2, plus several
cannon-sized holes across the field.
6 CONNER (FIH): WHAT IN GOD'S NAME DID YOU DO?
7 PA KENT (FIH): Conner, what's all that racket—my field!
Panel Five: KRYPTO, lying in his basket, chewing contentedly on the rabbit
head.
8 CONNER (OP): Stupid, stupid dog!
9 KRYPTO: *sigh*
