Hey i was just woundering if any one out there has any tips on drawing comics and stuff like that?

Practice... maybe buy some drawing books, like "Drawing Dynamic Comics", and get to work on some samples. Until I see what you can do, I can't give a more specific critique than that.

Don't just concentrate on comics. Taking classes in graphic design and life drawing will help your skills a lot. If there is a local community collage in your area, look into taking a couple courses.

Plus don't just think of comics as drawing pretty pictures. The main part of comics is about telling a story through a series of pictures. Since a lot of people can draw well, storytelling skills are what separate the pros from the amateurs.

porportion, perspective, anatomy, style...over and over and over and over....

porportion, perspective, anatomy, style...over and over and over and over....I'd put perspective first, and then anatomy. Learning those will help with proportion.

Style is a separate beast altogether.





Overall advice: get a basic perspective primer and learn that first. Then try some life-drawing.
