Wow, this sounds really good. This is good, solid, dense, thick, multilayered goodness that's actually thought provoking and quite intriguing. Kind of similar in that way to Steven Seagle's upcoming American Virgin with talk and examination of gods, sex and politics.
Vertigo, IMO, is THE best imprint of the last 10 years, tho certainly others have merit. Fantagraphics would probably take second place with their extremely high caliber of product.

What is it? I couldn't find anything about it at the DC/ Vert website. Do you have a link?

There's an article about it on the CBR homepage. It's posted September 13 and the title is Testifying: Rushkoff talks Vertigo's "Testament". Check it out.

Actually, it sounds really The Invisibles.

Rushkoff and Morrison are friends and culture-jamming, Disinformation colleagues so to some degree I would see this as Rushkoff's spin on some of the same themes and conflicts in The Invisibles. But he's not derivative and he's got plenty of his own wild ideas so I don't think it'll be a retread so much as something compatable that could sit on the same bookshelf.
Kinda like Steve Aylett's "Shamanspace."
