I'm feeling sappy today, partially because of this http://www.webcomicsnation.com/daveroman/engaged/series.php?view=archive&chapter=2085]kickass webcomic that everyone who loves comics and sappy stuff should check out and prepare to make with the "awwws" and other such utterances, but also because I tend to get sappy from time to time in general... So, any True Tales of Nerd Love that people want to share?

IIRC, Brandon proposed to Nicole WITH a comic he drew. It's a very "AWWWWW!" moment for all of us here.

Ann Fadiman's Ex Libris oozes with geek love-- she and her husband. On one of her birthdays they spend nearly 4 hours in an old used book shop in Westchester (NY).

I *really* like how he "asked her" by showing her the comic as he'd drawn it up til that point, then she "drew her answer." The fact that both of them are competent illustrators just adds to the coolness factor.
