Well, what's your opinion about ultimate Magneto(his origin, his power, his costume etc.) and he is better, equal or worse than 616 version.

I like him more, he's less compromised.

He seems pretty much the same to me...eventually in the ultimate he will be a good guy or softy.

I agree that he is less compromised. I especially like his portrayal by BKV in the most recent issue of Ultimate X-Men. Otherwise, I enjoy both versions pretty equally, unless Claremont is writing him.

Definitely less compromised. He even described himself as "seeing the world in black and white" rather than Charles who saw everything in grey.

I would hate to have him as a enemy, as he's quite ruthless against humans. His only fault is he gives you a lot of chances to escape/survive/destroy his plans if your a mutant. But whats weird is he casually killed that Ape guy for letting him free from Xavier's mind control, then turns around and gives the X-men plenty of chances to go onto his side.

He killed ape man and prolly the others evolutionated animals, cuz in magneto mind they wasnt mutants, only animals that evolucionated.

At least that is of i understand when i read that isue.

Mags is a cool character and for me it seems he's very close to the 616 version but with differences...Overall I think he's better. Maybe in the future they'll go soo far as to having an Ult. HoM.

I prefer 616 Magneto. While Ultimate Magneto is a scarier villain, I think the fact that he's a less complicated character works against him. He's so one-dimensionally evil all he needs is a little black mustache to twirl.

Ultimate Magneto is basically a mutant Osama Bin Laden, IMO.

I like how Vaughan has portrayed him so far. The way he's manipulating poor Ultimate Lorna is very sly.

He is less compromised. It seems these days that Magneto and Xavier in the MU are almost the same dude. Mag/X-Men seems more like a policy debate.

Ult. Mag is a villain that I can really dislike, at the same time being fascinated by.

Ultimate Magneto is a "black" character and i want to be a more complex character.Indeed Magneto_X he looks like a mutant version of modern style terrorist.

But isn't he?
I mean, given the right writer, couldn't a comic about Osama Bin Laden make him a more complex and sympathetic character?
