Not sure if this is appropriate here but it does involve people who Steven has mentioned in his column. I have become fascinated by this case and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of it. It is a case that started in Nebraska and centered around this guy named Larry King who was a rising member of the Republican Party and apparently also ran a child prostitution ring that reached the White House.
I know everyone is probably saying "conspiracy theory" and I would agree except some of these charges have been proven. Lawrence King was ordered to pay one of his victims a million dollars. The main person investigating this case is John DeCamp who was a respected Republican and was initially brought in to disprove the case. The Washington Times did a front page story on male prostitutes getting midnight tours in the White House. Lastly the BBC did a documentary on this story and the day before it was supposed to air on the Discovery Channel it was mysteriously pulled due to threats from members of congress.
Anyway I have linked the story as well as the actual documentary that was never aired. Whether you believe it or not it is really fascinating and if you investigate further it gets a lot more interesting.
