This is a thread inspired by the 'Amazy Fantasy' title being published by Marvel.
Every month I will select a character to be revamped and you can give you're interpretation.
The new character should be entirely new except for the name.
This months character is......Black Fox.
Have fun :)

Heres my rendition;

Make him a thief/assasin causing trouble for street level heroes like Daredevil and Spider-Man.
I was going for a stealthy look for him and the fluffy white bits are pretty cool.

Black Fox was a blacksploitation super heroine in the 70s. She fought against viallains like Voodoo Pete and The Funkadelix Freak Force. She and her sidekick, Heaphaestus Jones, were a hardcore crime-fighting duo.
All that ended in the 80s. Reagan's America had no place for a crime fighting black duo with tongues firmly planted in cheek. So Black Fox retired and settled into her life. Taking the name Diane Brown she got a job at a library.
Jump to 2005. Diane Brown, now 50 yearts old, runs the city library system. She's lost none of her drive, none of her sass, none of her power. She's happy in her life. She finds her job fulfilling. She has a wide range of friends. She doesn't miss her cime fighting days at all.
And then Hepaestus Jones reappears in her life. The years have been good to him as well. He's successful, happily married and a grandfather. And one day a strange compulsion came over him and he found himself forced to go to Diane and tell her this:
"Your luck in life is not your own. Your every success has been at the expense of 100 men and women who were chosen to feel your pains and take your blows and suffer your losses. This was done for a reason. Find the reason and set them free."
And so Diane Brown sets aside her life and goes off to discover the secrets of her past and help the victims of her luck. But this time there is no flash and bang. No mini-skirts and halter tops. No fringe and feathers. This time she's just a woman dressed all in black going form place to place, searching for the secret of the Black Fox.

I like the premise Chad.
It'd never get mainstream exsposure of course but it would make a good Vertigo title.
