About the Hulk in space story.

What do you mean when you said he would be stuck for ages?Is it months or years.Our we as the readers going with the Hulk through Space.Or is kind of like we dont see him for an issue and then he returns and it is suppose to be however long he was stuck in space later?Are they going to change Hulk's appearence or incarnation?
Also is this storyline connected to "Next years great Summer event!"?
