Despite an absolutely stunning cliffhanger surprise ending to issue #8, issue number 9 has relatively little significant plot development.
Spoiler alert below:
Yeah, we get a comment that a young girl is the daughter of the Red Skull, but so what? That could or could not be false. We get cap and Sheild getting ready to bust Lunkin's chops, but getting called off at the last minute by UN forces. So what...
No new information on the Winter Solder.
No new information on Jack Monroe.
No new information on Bucky.
Sigh.
Not much new happens.
Does anyone else agree?
My writer friend says this issue was only the second in a second story arc and was only setting up the action in future issues. I thought we were already INTO the new arc and the action would continue. What do you think?
