Hurray for Y: the Last Man, easily the best Vertigo title being published right now, from the sharp dialogue to the strong characterizations to the bonechilling cliffhangers.

And to anyone who doesn't have Preacher yet, now's your chance. :)

Let me know if you guys like it and want me to keep it up.

It's really good, if only all publisher threads had this. Good Work

Daniel.

Being a new comer to Vertigo, this is really helpful, thanks.

Otherworld for me.
And I loved the neverwhere novel, even if i don't read the comics adaptation.
Didn't see the tv-show either.
For those who have not read V for Vendeta yet, I warmly recomand the trade.

100 bullets and Fables are two wondeful series. amonst the best published today.

Oh, wow. How did I miss that Neverwhere was being adapted. Gotta get that!

I like this idea! Keep it up! I know I don't poke my hairy nostrils around here very much but I'm glad I did. Neverwhere was adapted to a comic? I'd love to read that!

And hey, what are you doing for the rest of your life, babe? ;)

Neverwhere adapted? Sounds great!

*big farting noise*

Sorry you guys, but this series seriously sucks right now. Just about every visual interpretation of the characters is flawed imo, and the story lacks the flow and even some of the thematic charm that Gaiman's novel holds.

The only thing that makes it better than the BBC mini-series is the lack of annoying music.

Were this mini the only thing I'd read from Carey and Fabry I'd probably avoid the rest of their work like the plague.

I'm new to this site (CBR that is), but not message boards. I've been poking around for a place to 'hang-ou'.

This is the type of care and attention I appreciate in a moderater. Thanks Papergirl. It appears you have stopped again though, is that from lack of interest here, or personal matters? Are you going to be updating weekly? Monthly? Not at all anymore? I'm curious.

Anyway, I, for one, would love to see this updated. You did a very nice job of it. Thanks.

Welcome! Feel free to post in as many threads as possible, start up new ones, and dance under the sunshine filled rainbow that comes from the hearts and souls of each of us!

Just joking. I kid, I kid.

Actually, the Vertigo board is probably one of the least-active at times, but you should definitely explore every one on CBR. You'll All Be Sorry is Gail Simone's board, and is usually very busy, as well as the Community board, TV/Film and the various comic boards.

Thank you, and welcome, Sceaduo! Offline stuff has kept me from updating this as I wanted to, but rest assured, I'm back fulltime now and eager to get this going again!

For now, I plan on doing this monthly. Since the info is all there, I just need to set aside on night a month to put it together.

Hope to see you posting more soon!

~sheepish grin~

Life has kinda been getting in the way lately. I'm not around nearly as much as I should be, due to my Mom's ever-growing health problems and helping take care of her.

I WILL get to this tonight or tomorrow. Promise.

Oh, no worries, PG, I just noticed that the thread's been stickied forever, unlike a certain popular Vertigo Trades List... ;)

YEEEAAAAHHH!

You rule, Bev! :D

We did it guys! We DID it!

I'd like to thank the Academy... er, um, yes, anyways, right on, now I don't have to spend the extra thirty-five seconds to search for the thread when I want to remember which Hellblazer trade goes in which order.
