Using the time gained by the flash grenade, I make it outside. I keep running until I'm about thirty feet away from the church, shouting to Mule as I go,

"Mule! Get ready! I'm gonna need you in a second! Just do what I tell you immediately when the time comes!"

Skidding to a halt, I turn around to face Anderson.

"It pains me to have to do this, but it must be done. As a man of God, protecting His house is important, for it is the house of worship of those of the Faith. Truly, it would be a grevious loss for any church to have harm befall it. However, if you do not retreat, I must and shall give the order to have that church burnt to the ground. I shall also strive to have it become the resting place of my friend and companion, the very one that so horrifies you."

Well, the real problem is that I'm not a mod, I was just controlling a boss for Corey. And as you already defeated him, and I don't have a replacement character, there isn't much I can do for you.

Well, you could fight an undead version of the Alchemage, if you really want to. Though you'd have to ask Corey later for any awards gained, because I can't give them out.

The Alchemage's power is transmuting, shaping and animating nonliving matter into whatever he wishes, by the way. Though he can't make anything that he doesn't know how it works. And as he's no engineer, most tech devices are beyond him. Though he has no real need for them, anyway.

It's what happens when an RPG thread big bad tried to make the heroes all fight each other and one of the heroes is feared/respected the most.

Weapons: Retractable adamantium bo-staff, small white magic knife w/ silver blade, metal shield that nullifies ice magic
Strength: 280 lbs., naturally. 360 lbs. boosted via gauntlets. 720 lbs. boosted via magnetism
Speed: Taskmaster (double time) level x 2, naturally. Batgirl III x 2 level boosted via gauntlets. Batgirl III x 4 level boosted via magnetism

Abilities:

Levitating up to 5 tonnes, levitating himself and/or magnetised objects, force-fields, cancel magnetic attractiveness to objects, reverse magnetic polarities, reverse magnetic electrons in people's brains, reverse black holes, create black holes (if given enough energy to reverse), create lightning (via speeding up the electrons in the atmosphere, control the magnisphere, control blood/create tidal waves from large bodies of water via hydromagnetism), create force-fields around enemies organs, scan the electromagnetic field (can detect spirits from between the 3.45 khz. to the 2M khz. range), beef up physical stats (ala Triumph from JLA), scan the ionisphere (another way to detect spirits), magnetic waves, alfven waves, control the Earth's magnetisphere, magnetogravity waves, speed up the ions in (living) bodies to make them explode


This specific ability can be used in various ways. So many it needs its own list:

Creating constructs via ferrous material from the air/environment:

(These constructs have limited durability. They can't take to much blunt force trauma if attacked within the 250 lbs. range and over. They'll bend, crack and/or shatter from the assault/s. Extreme heat melts them, extreme cold makes them brittle and water makes them rust (water can do that to matel, right?). The bigger the construct the thinner it will be and more hollow inside it is (except for constructs that are small enough and require no hollow part, like weapons).

Minor stuff:

Creating weapons (axes/swords/staffs/spears/lances/shurikans/daggerssledgehammers/scythes/ hooks/tridents/shields/maces/batons/arrows/ball & chains/whips/claws [ala Wolverine]etc), crowbars, cages, nets, "Porcipines"(spheres covered entirely in tiny spikes), spades, (brass) knuckles, bindings, hand-cuffs, shackles, bridges, tendrils, hammers, belts, bracelets, armour for people, claws (animal), blindfolds, keys (by mimicking the shape of keyholes), walls, doors, floors, ceilings, making people armour of their own etc.


Major stuff:

The Vortex of Shards
His entire body is surrounded by thousands of tiny spikes spinning around him at incredible speeds, like a cyclone, that shred anybody/anything that comes close to pieces. Can't use this for more then a minute or two and he's exausted, afterward.

Lightning Storm
Blanket an area with lightning (radiating from his body). he will be at its centre and it takes a lot of energy to do this, so afterwards he's exhausted!

Knight Soldiers
Similar to Jeremish's plant clones Erik's knight soldiers tax him in concentration and energy whenever he uses them. However, unlike the plant clones these are not alive or have independent minds. Just empty shells. They are just "robots" (not mechanically, they are just moving metal that does what they're told). Erik *is* their mind/s so if he's distracted, to tired and/or loses concentration to think about using them they will freeze while doing something until Erik makes a connection to them again.

They are designed to look like English knights.

Mega Knight Soldiers
Identical to normal knight soldiers only these are made of either two or three of them to combine into a huge version with thicker armour. Their armour is the same thickness as Erik's Magna Armour with two, and three times thicker than thhe ordinary knight soldiers with three.

Currently Erik can only control one at a time (with enough energy to have only a single ordinary knight soldier simultaenously) since they take more energy/concentration to move.

Animal Constructs
Magnus controls them the same way as the knight soldiers, but how much energy/concentration needed depends on how big said animal construct is.

Small animal constructs: snakes, chimpanzees, scorpions, pythons, spiders, dogs etc. These tax him as much as normal Knight Soldiers.

Big animal constructs: elephants, rhinocerouses, scorpions, bears, crocodiles, gorillas, dinosaurs [stegosaurus, tyrannosaurus rexes, triceratops, anklosauruses etc]. These big animal constructs tax him as many as Mega Knight Soldiers do.

Magna Armour
Twice as thick as the knight soldiers armour, helmet (like comic Magneto with a faceplate that comes down to protect his face [ala Iron Man]/made immediately once danger is around with eye slits, boots, added small spikes to the rune gauntlets knuckles, larger spikes on his shoulder pads, one big spike on the centre of each of his armour's ankles, tiny spikes lines the top of his chest in a large square (to impale enemies that fall on his upper chest), one spike on each of his armour's elbows (big enough to impale or bruise someone/thing it smashes into but small enough not to both him).

When I'm in the Magna Armour its armour forms a protective shell around my body a few millimeters from my skin, so I'm not suffocating in there.

The items and weapons on my person will be hidden *underneath* the armour, the only item that isn't hidden is Sightbender (oh, and the gauntlets, of course!). Which is unhindered by the armour since Erik adjusts the armour every time it moves to stay externally.

Erik can get any of his weapons (knife, shield, bo-staff etc) and items (healing potion etc) at any time since he just needs to reach though his own armour (it only allows his hand[s] to go in/out but nothing else so it looks like he's phasing through it).

They will continue to on his person in the same place.

Magna Chainsaw
Looks the same as an ordinary chainsaw, but is empty inside since it has no moving parts. Their blades move the same but are powered by magnetism. Since it does move it taxes his energy a bit to keep the blade "activated", but not anywhere near the amount it takes for one knight soldier.

Off-screen Erik has made his own ad-hoc belt, sheath/s (one to old the knife, on the left side of his waist, the other to hold his bo-staff [in its unretracted form] connected to the belt) while he still has his shield strapped to his back (ala Captain America) underneath the cloak.

All made via ferrous materials in the atmosphere.

Alchemage Armour
Mask: Tinted glasses/eye-slits give protection from hypnosis effects, looks like a gas mask, protects the wearer from gases and has a built-in oxygen supply
Heavy Dark Cloak: Protects the wearer from electricity
The Armour: Made from a strange, unnatural material that is incredibly durable
despite being stretchable like rubber, piercing damage (i.e. sword strikes etc) aren't a problem but it is useless against modren weaponry (guns etc)

Current Appearance:
Wearing the Alchemage armour, but instead of using his gauntlets I use the runed ones. I wear the invisiblity cloak over the Alcamage's cloak, thus giving him both invisibility *and* protect him from eletricity.

My usual equipment is hidden beneath the armour ala Magna Armour.

Personal Armour 3.0

The Alchemage armour is underneath, but coated in a layer (Magna Armour level thickness) of metal made from ferrous material, this layer looks the same as the Alchemage armour but with subtle and not to sublte changes.

Said changes are: 1) large single spikes at his elbows and kneepads/his right gauntlet has two lines of small spikes lined up that go down from below his wrist to the crease of his arm (opposite his elbow on the other side) and three 12 inch blades jutting from his knuckles (ala Wolverine). 2) His left arm has an external shield (rectangle shaped) starting at his wrist and ending just below his elbow (that is as thick as a Knight Soldier's shell). This is bonded to the external armour. 3) Both hands have fingers that end in animal claws and his boots end in single spiked tips (that allow him to stab opponenets with a kick), like a Christmas elf's shoe/s. 4) His cloaks (both the Alchemage's and Sightbender) billow behind him from his shoulders. 5) The external armour has been transmuted into adamantium via Jeremiah.

It didn't take a genius to know something had gone terribly wrong!

Erik kept his force-field on. Just to be safe. Who knew what other things he'd meet in this strange and dangerous place?

He lowered himself to the bridge's floor beneath him. Immediately his body covered from head to toe in medieval armour.

He sees a foreboding figure, this one in a different armour with their face hidden.

"Just you and me, huh?" Erik snorts. "I assume your boss is The Thousand Masters."

"If this guy is as good as Sandman, I'm in *big* trouble!" He thinks to himself, "May as well get this over with."

He withdrew his bo-staff and slowly walked up the bridge toward the menacing figure. Expecting the worst.

Some observation indicated that he was weaving some sort of giant net, undoubtedly for a nefarious purpose.

Erik was silently impressed. This adversary proved most dangerous. This foe, whoever they were, are definitely one of the Thousand Master's upper echelon.

Unlike Overlord Sandman this minion was stone cold. No boasts here. No throwing him around like a ragdoll (which he was thankful for!).

He was unsure why they remained mute, however. Either they were trying to unnerve him or they couldn't speak at all. But that could wait for later.

His primary concern was decifering his foe's source of power and find any weaknesses. If they had any.

The way the villain had made a mere gesture and made his knight soldier disappear was a puzzle. It vanished into stone! True power was here.

Spreading out both arms, the undead Alchemage caused several long filaments to grow from the ground and ceiling, which started to zip around quickly.

Erik launched a volley of lightning bolts (see my profile for information on how magnetism relates to this) at the stranger.

The oxygen around Erik spread a small gust of wind around him, which made his cloak shiver in the wind.

Some observation indicated that he was weaving some sort of giant net, undoubtedly for a nefarious purpose.

Nevertheless, the attack prompted the sitting undead to divert some attention from his net-weaving into a counter-attack. A piece of the ceiling the size of a car broke loose and dropped toward Magnus.

The hero heard the crack of rock* above him and saw a huge piece of the ceiling coming down.

"Bringing the house down already? Your boss might not like you redecorating the place. Exspecially with guests around," Erik joked. He knew the villain wouldn't respond. Still, it was felt good to make fun of an adversary he had riled into going into action.

Somehow the lightning had promped the armoured Doom-wannabe into moving in haste, but he showed no damage. Why? (Of course, Erik doesn't know about what the Alchemage's coat.) he'll have to figure out a way to go either around or through it to cause--whoever-- some damage underneath.

Just imagine that you fighting inside of a hostile football-field sized T-1000 that can change its component materials at will, and you get a fairly accurate impression of what you are going up against :D

As for area covered... well, the weave is shaped like a hollow vertical cylinder, with you at the middle. The hollow inner area where you are is about as wide as a large house, and reaches from the floor to the ceiling.

The "walls" surrounding you are made of finger-thick strands of a rubbery material, and are about 10m (about 30 foot I think) thick. Though it's not very dense. You could probably fly through it without touching any of the strings, but...

Then he dived straight down, spun a few meters before reaching the floor (a place he didn't want to be) and arced toward the villian as fast as he could. Erik quickly materialised a sheet of thick ferrous material around his enemies head (to cover the enemy's eyes), froze the--whatever's---hands to stop moving, envisioned a force-field around the armour clad minion's heart, crushing it and ripped his own car-sized hunk from the chamber's bridge via covering the mass with ferrous material from thin air and wrenched it up from its former location and flew it up behind him (as he homed in toward the villian).

All the while two knight soldier erupts from his back and fly in different directions. One, circled around to the villain's right armed with an axe (a few meters away as Erik flew ahead several meters closer to the "human" enigma) while the other flew at the strands armed with a bo-staff!

One Jeremiah duplicates the powers of an Ant(running up to 80mph, 10x strength), and races to attack the kyuubi, while the other two duplicate a fly once more. One begins punching the dazed Hokage at 10x speed while the other sprays acidic vomit.

Kyuubi spins around quickly, causing a HUGE whrilwind.

The 4th then Summons up Kirikiri Mai. He then, with his sickle, goes straight at you.

Running away from the reaper at high speed, Jeremiah copies to damage resistance and radiation resistance of a cockroach(a human-sized cockroach is also about 4x as fast as human when it comes to running speed, IIRC). He then uses his lodestone's ranged matter transmutation ability to change the entire room's floor to enriched uranium, emitting extremely deadly radiation to poison his opponents(not even a medical nin could survive that...).

Every time the ferret injures me or severs a limb, a new Jeremiah sprouts up while the other grows its limb back. When my numbers grow sufficiently, I split off half of the group and go after the kyuubi with the same tactics. Meanwhile, the primary Jeremiah, lodestone in hand, makes his way to the fallen 4th Hokage. Another ability of a planarian worm can be explained with the following: if you run a worm through a maze, cut it up, and feed it to others of its kind, the other worms are suddenly able to run the maze easily(this same thing was mentioned in Alan moore's Swamp Thing). In other words: planarian words can gain knowledge by cannibalizing others. Time to pull a venom and eats some brains: the 4th Hokage's, to be exact(don't worry, I won't be able to copy ninjitsu, as I don't have chakra. I'm just giving Jeremiah a crash course in martial arts, as well as learning about the pact one has to form with a Narutoverse creature in order to summon it, so I can maybe find out how to dismiss it).

No. Exactly where are the nets? I thought the strands were just from the ceiling. If either Erik and/or a knight soldier gets to close to a strand they don't fly directly through it. He isn't stupid. :)

I don't think a summon can make another summon. Summons are done by a blood pact made with a specific animal type. The size of the animal you summon is based entirely on your chakra level. The dog pack, IIRC, can only be done by ninjas, and requires a scroll to use.


Anywho...

Jeremiah finishes with his meaty brain snack, now possessing a decent knowledge of hand-to-hand combat. The group attacking the Kyuubi decide to change tactics. They turn off their animal powers, and instead become plant elementals. They then do the unexpected: they HELP the Kyuubi. They use their ability as plants to emit oxygen, causing the firestorm to grow all the greater. They then use their magical ability to manipulate fire to increase it even further, hopefully causing the fox to be consumed by his own power. If that doesn't work, they direct the kyuubi's immensely intense flame to the scythe-wielding ferret, where the group attacking it shift their powers to the fire-resistant Pompeii worms, and increase its intensity even further. The ferret now finds itself with a monstrous firestorm hotter than a volcano bearing down on it.

Actually, the ferret is a Temari summon(she used it to save Shikamaru's arse against the sound flute ninja girl). Gaara's spirit is a badger.

Magnus freezes in mid-air, daring not get any closer to the villian and reverses his momentum in the opposite direction.

His mind races as he flies away zig zagging this way and that around the tendrils from the boulders*, collecting and decifing all the clues he's got from his silent opponent.

While flying he pushes a button that retracts the bo-staff to its original size, reaches though his armour, slides it in its proper sheath then pulls his hand out again.

"Those 'strands' have got to be magic! Glistening like that and all. But not the type that Jeremiah wields. Another form. Have to investigate more about what he uses.

"His suit doesn't seem to protect him from my magnetic attacks and lightning, of all things, rattled him!

"My constructs are useless against him!

"But the most revealing things were he needed to produce more arms to do more magic, somehow his eyes can use it too and my forcefield inside him did squat.

"He's not alive. At least I know what techniques to not use on him. That'll save me a lot of hassle," he thought to himself.

"I've got your number now, magic man. Being a walking corpse won't save you, though!

"Jeremiah would run circles around you with his magic!"

The Alchemage was a bit sceptical about that running comment. After all, it was fairly hard to reach great speeds when the ground was actively trying to eat you.

Those things were going to be a real problem, soon enough. Better get rid of them so he can focus on the main threat: the sorcerer!

With no knight soldiers to control anymore, he stopped in the centre of the circle.

The armoured hero was running out of options!

He covered the villain's entire form with magnetic fields to stop him moving entirely. Temporary measure, but something to keep the lackey from trying something while he dealt with the strands.

Then widened his personal force-field to cover the chamber entirely, from top to bottom. He quickly formed another protective bubble around himself as the ever increasing force-field blanked the area.

Jeremiah finishes with his meaty brain snack, now possessing a decent knowledge of hand-to-hand combat. The group attacking the Kyuubi decide to change tactics. They turn off their animal powers, and instead become plant elementals. They then do the unexpected: they HELP the Kyuubi. They use their ability as plants to emit oxygen, causing the firestorm to grow all the greater. They then use their magical ability to manipulate fire to increase it even further, hopefully causing the fox to be consumed by his own power. If that doesn't work, they direct the kyuubi's immensely intense flame to the scythe-wielding ferret, where the group attacking it shift their powers to the fire-resistant Pompeii worms, and increase its intensity even further. The ferret now finds itself with a monstrous firestorm hotter than a volcano bearing down on it.

I switch the uranium back to stone. I then copy planarian worms while redirecting the fireballs, and let the weasel cut me to bits. Each severed limb regenerates into a new Jeremiah(let's say about 6). Each of these copy planarian worms in turn. I plow into the ferret, blasting it with electricity and flame. Every time the ferret injures me or severs a limb, a new Jeremiah sprouts up while the other grows its limb back. When my numbers grow sufficiently, I split off half of the group and go after the kyuubi with the same tactics. Meanwhile, the primary Jeremiah, lodestone in hand, makes his way to the fallen 4th Hokage. Another ability of a planarian worm can be explained with the following: if you run a worm through a maze, cut it up, and feed it to others of its kind, the other worms are suddenly able to run the maze easily(this same thing was mentioned in Alan moore's Swamp Thing). In other words: planarian words can gain knowledge by cannibalizing others. Time to pull a venom and eats some brains: the 4th Hokage's, to be exact(don't worry, I won't be able to copy ninjitsu, as I don't have chakra. I'm just giving Jeremiah a crash course in martial arts, as well as learning about the pact one has to form with a Narutoverse creature in order to summon it, so I can maybe find out how to dismiss it).

The Alchemage rolled his eyes, the only body part not pinned down by the fields. He was fairly confident that he could break out of the hold if he used his powers to animate his body, but he wasn't in a hurry right now.
Though he was slightly annoyed that his net was being ripped apart by the expanding dome of force. Weaving wasn't easy!

Well, for now he had more amusing plans for his enemy. Focusing his gaze on the floating figure, he sent out more of his power. Oh yes, this would be fun, even if it failed.

OT: I'm pretty sure that lead will block some stuff, but that just causes the lead to give off some radiation of its own. Not sure about other metals
