Seems Caine moved closer and has you in his sights again.

You hear a rush of feet as Hoppard, Zazie, Midvalley, and Chapel charge into the plant.

Legato then tries to assualt your mind with all his power, trying to break your will.

I need a bit of a breather here to do some work, so it's time for Doomgiver again. I'll be using it sparingly, though.

Facing Hoppered, Zazie, Midvalley, and Chapel, I brandish DG at them, backing up until I'm almost against the plant. The entire time, though, I'm fighting. Legato's influence is threatening to drown me.

I have a small amount of hope. For a moment, I bend all my will inwards. With one hand, I reach up to my temples, getting the best possible contact with my own mind. I can feel my own state, my entire conscious mind a turbulent rush of emotions and undercurrents, all caused by Legato's meddlings.

The turbulence becomes a tide, a flood, and I can tell if I let him be much longer he'll win. I've got one shot at this.

First, the barriers. I shore up my own emotional state with deep-set calm, setting it so deeply within myself it's barely noticeable on the surface. Then, I lock it in as tightly as I can, to the point where it'll take some time for even me to undo it.

Next, the surface. Using my own powers, I stir and direct my mind until one thing becomes dominant: Mindless rage. Rage at Legato, rage at this fight, rage at the Guns, rage at every enemy I've fought so far... It flows around the confines of my mind until I'm awash in a sea of red, passionate fury.

And now, the finishing touches. It's time to use a technique I've been keeping on the backburner for some time now, mulling over and refining. I've come to call it "Additive Influence". It involves taking the current set of emotions and their intensity and adding it on top of itself, effectively doubling it. Keep doing it, and you'll get to a point where even the strongest minds will be overwhelmed.

The seconds build up, and so does my fury. I can feel it, pushing ever upwards against my sanity itself. The advanced control over my own mind that comes with my unique powers is the only thing that's keeping me from being lost in the rushing inferno. Fearful that I might lose this power, I lock it in.

And now, I advance on Legato, putting Doomgiver away. My muscles are taught, every single one straining against its counterpart in an effort to escape and loose the insane energy inside. For fractions of a second, I give the lesser foes around me in the plant a bit of what I'm feeling right now. That should serve as enough of a deterrent to keep them away while I'm busy. As I advance, I slowly build up a crescendo, giving Legato a small piece of what's to come. With every step, the taste is stronger and more powerful.

And now, I'm face to face with Legato. I can barely see for all the pent up fury I'm holding in, but I can still manage to grope for his face. Up until now, what I've been sending out on broadcast was a mere insignifigant fraction of the full force.

If my face wasn't a rictus of anger, I'd be smiling a cracked and somewhat demented smile right now. I lean in towards Legato, whispering my next words.

"Take it. All of it."

And I let go of the floodgates.

Legato's smirk remains only a fraction of a second. Then, the floodgates open up and all that is, was, and ever would have been Legato is burned away with a fire hotter than even the sun.


You fall to your knees, shaking as Legato Bluesummers is washed away by the sheer torrent of pure, unadulterated power that you unleashed upon him.
The emotions are so strong that they actually take physical form and burn Legato away like a cleansing fire.

The other surviving Gung Ho Guns slowly come to and start to advance upon you, weary, but still ready to do their jobs.

Still, I tried to keep gains when lvling on the minimal and logical side(in other words, there are no dramatic leaps in power from lvl to lvl). Additionally, the abilities here also make sense in the context of the Transition piece I wrote. If need be, however, I can tone him down a bit(perhaps to 25th lvl or somesuch).

since Cleric and Corey(and Sandman a ways back) have done such a good job creating arch-villains, I was curious if perhaps I could do the same for the fights I mod every now and again. In other words, create someone tailor-made t test you guys at certain junctures. Now, these guys wouldn't be at Thousands Master lvl or anything, but they would be individuals that players would have to build themselves up to killing. Kind've like the " you cannot win this fight, but survive and you'll be rewarded" kind've thing that has been done in the past.

I'd have one for each of ya. Let me know what you think!

As the dust clear, you see a tall figure garbed in full technological body armor standing in the center of a crater, eyes and mouth bleeding raw power. The ground around him has turned to charred, smoking glass.

He gazes at you with burning eyes and laughs.

"So the Shaman sought to protect you from me, did he? Perhaps he felt that dying at your hand would be better than being devoured by myself. No matter."

He raises his hand, crackling with orange electricity.

"Come, then. Let us see if you are worthy of my interest."

I then place the Star Brand on my hand to my eye to dramatically increase my senses(as done by Quasar in his book, having this on your eye makes it impossible for things to remain hiddenf rom your vision), while also probig with omega lvl telepathy and cosmic awareness.

As I search, I prepare an antimatter fireball to nuke him.

Alternatively, I could phase right through it.

After that, I form some shields(a force field ala Invisible Woman, reinforced by a photonic shield) to take care of the lightning. Seperately, we have battled his minions in hopes of becoming strong enough to fight him and defeat him. However, the Thousand Master out manuevered me and set your friends against me, knowing they would not be able to see him. Then you came in and we fought. This is my tale. Now what?

Your detachable limb misses Sightblinder by about 40 feet.

Cooler charges toward you while Kold plays rear guard and keeps himself between you and your Sword.


Using my new learned justu, I first create a whole bunch of shrukien bushins (Roughly I create a thousand, and they are hard to cut through) and I create some Charkra Scapels as I await for Cooler.

I've still got options, though. With what little energy I have left, I tear down the barriers in my companions' minds. The calming effect is gone, and by now their healing factors should have them back to near full strength.

Th old man's barrier grows larger and vaporizes the Ogre contructs while he takes to the air via multiple mach speeds, dodging your anti-matter punch and sending sonic booms toward you at the same time due to his sudden flight.

Well, since I can't rememeber my first trump card (and it was well thought out too!) I'll do something simple. Since Lee isn't at me quite yet, I quickly use a switching justu, and I switch myself with a tree trunk. I figure by the time Druken Lee finds out it is a log, he'll already have used whatever he is planning. Since I'm behind them, and since I learned Morning Peacock, I quickly unleash the 6th kai gate, and I go all out on them.

"Damn...." I murmur as I quickly use a switch justu and switch myself with a broken branch. As I appear behind him, I pick up my Townsaver, and I attempt to slash his back.

The dust storm does not seem to hamper his ability to detect you in the least, nor does your invisibility.

He begins delfecting your attacks by creating small round tk fields at the precise points you strike

With that, a hole appears in his chest armor, and huge burst of pure psionic energy pours directly at you.

I drain the kinetic energy from the sonic booms, or just let my shield take care of them.

Time to have some fun.

First, I use my cosmirod's time-motion displacement field to drastically slow down my opponent(btw, can I use cosmic awareness to determine of this is the real one?), although my own speed is well above MACH levels anyway. Additionally, I drain the kinetic motion from his muscles, further slowing him down. I then go one step further and slow the neurons down in his brain. No thinky for you!

To further the mindscrew, I use my electromagnetic spectrum manipulation to broadcast thoughtstatic to disrupt his thinking(I think another of my chars did this earlier or something) like in JLA #24. I also add my own omega-lvl telepathy to this, further making his mind complete mush.

Because of my enhanced intellect and Quentin-Quire-like secondary mutation, multitasking is easy for me. So while that is going down, so is this:

If the kinetic manip didn't slow him down, using the moonstones to force immense amounts of gravity onto him should do the trick. I aslo fold space around him(a little trick done by Midas in Marvelboy, not to mention the moonstones can do it) to crush him and prevent teleportation. Also, I make the darkforce erupt from the shadows within Grinthorn's own body, choking and crushing his organs while also using the emotional manipulation aspects of the darkforce to force him into despair.

I then let my hands burst into antimatter nova flame(but taking care to insure I don't accidentally set the atmosphere ablaze), and blast him with a combination of that, photonic energy, moonstone energy, and quantum band energy.

Well, since I can't rememeber my first trump card (and it was well thought out too!) I'll do something simple. Since Lee isn't at me quite yet, I quickly use a switching justu, and I switch myself with a tree trunk. Since I'm behind them, and since I learned Morning Peacock, I quickly unleash the 6th kai gate, and I go all out on them.

The next weapon I'm getting is Clamihm Solaris. I figure since I'm fighting a archvillain, you'll give me a level up, and with that... I'm going to get my first soul sucking sword!

Realizing that speech might not be the best medium, I try to clear my mind, leave myself open and receptive. There's not much else for me to do, me being in the state I am. Feeling like something is feeding on your energy, you notice a small tare in the air. Using your impressive vision, you see your energy slowing being siphoned into said tare. Looks like the old man was only a decoy.

I thought of something awsome. Now, since water is my first power, and I leveled it up so much, so I figure I can do this. Also, I'm pretty sure that every "being" has a liquid in his/her/it's body.

Now I know I won't be able to do this for long, but just long enough so Kold can punch himself in the face. I figure that'll take care of him for the moment. If that works, then I turn my eyes to Cooler, and I dash towards him, cutting him up with the Townsaver.

A yellow haired kid jumps down, and two more follow. A girl with pink hair and I guy with thick eye brows.

The yellow hair kid smiles as he and the thickeyed brow guy jumps away. The pink haired girl puts on her gloves, and then she palms the ground, causing it to crack around you. She goes into the horse stance, and then says "CHA!".

As if to stab the blade into his chest..before he Zanzokened above the yellow haired boy..blade of swirling super compacted and contained entropic hurricane pointed right at the blonde haired boy's skull, since he probably would have dodged the other two blades. Aiming for the one blind spot almost all humans have. Straight up. And if he misses he would immdiately bring the Entropic shards back to power his shield at full power from any attacks the others might bare at him.

Sakura runs over to Rock Lee and his wounds. Since he is so fast, his foot shouldn't be all off, but his skin is burning and he'll need to stay off of it for awhile, she says. He gets up and shakes his body off as he opens two charkra gate, and his body is fully healed. He then charges at you also, not planning anything at the moment...

He the moved the front force of his shard based shield to mvoe and protect him from Naruto's charge.

He smirked and then laughed manically "Fools! You face the Prince of Malfeas!" and with that..he changed into his full demonic Devil trigger form.

Okay, you heal yourself and rest a bit, and after a bit of walking, you notice the ground underneath you shifting to knock you off of yur feet as multiple balls of fire streak directly at you.

I redirect the energy back at him, and tap the diamond dust. The shapeshifting comes into effect and I gain the strength and hardness of a diamond. He reabsorbs the energy into himself casually as his shields seem to deflect your assault.

"Every diamond, much as with your technique, has a flaw."

An invisible fist then slams into your diamond body with incredible force, sending you tumbling.

OT: You kinda controled the character, because Naruto four tails would've already shot the blast dead in your chest before you could even rip the charkra armor away.

Sakura takes out a fiew Cherry Blosoms and explodes them towards you. Lee gets back up, fully healed, and hides in the shadows. Naruto charges towards you and attempts to rip you into shreds with his tails.

OT: If you want to consider it. It all depends on on how fast Naruto bleeds. Also the four tails armor is a mixture of Naruto's blood and the Kyuubi chakra. It isn't even ripping the chakra away It's ripping the blood out of Naruto which the Kyuubi chakra doesn't seem to care about/is concious about. Also it was a small while for when Naruto started to charge his first chakra blast against Orochimaru. Infact, enough time for him to consider his action and to summon the three rashamon gates. I considered Jael's action of exacerbating the already countinuous damage to Naruto to be moot. but you're right on the controlling factor. Sorry for that.

Freezing my index finger, I stick it into the air to make the air more dense around me, while I use my free hand to do a mist justu. With the air this dense, it will take more power to move it so I figure I'll be able to tell where it is coming from, because of this... or whatever...
